"Great" interviews
Gomi said nothing... 'I enjoyed the fight... bla... bla... i enjoy Las Vegas... bla-bla..." He said nothing about the fight, about his condition and he looked (maybe only to me) cocky as ever...
And Silva's - ooooh.... couldn't they find one translator from portugese....
"I uuum [gestures] to uuuum[more gestures]...."

P.S. TY for the links tough :)

Thanks for the links. Gomi seemed just as I expected. Came to enjoy Vegas, didnt take Diaz seriously and now he's going back to Japan to get back to business. hehe

I think he spent too much time in Vegas partying and came in the fight tipsy!

It was also weird seeing Wanderlei talking in English. I've never really seen him do that. He seemed like a pretty different guy than the "Axe Murderer" he's known for.

This is one instance where looks can be deceiving. Yes- Diaz got tagged. But Gomi tapped. I'm interested to see how Diaz fights next. Confidence should be through the roof.

Those pictures illustrate two things. First that subs combined with early tapping can keep you looking good, second is Diaz is one tough guy.

It's interesting that you posted the close up of Diaz and the far away of Gomi. I saw Gomi's post-fight interview, he certainly didn't have the marks on his face that Diaz did. Still, you could tell he had been in a fight. Diaz won though ,so I'm sure he will wear his scar with Pride
