The Cowboys Mod

Season: 41-29 (#1705)
Location: Maryland

Full results (sorry for being so late, nobody and I mean NOBODY did live results online and I wasn't paying $13 for the live stream): Prelim matches: Joe Pearson beat John Hosman by submission (triangle) at 1:42 of round 1. Louis Taylor beat Adam Maciejewski by unanimous decision, 1 30-27 and 2 29-28s. Hector Urbina beat Dave Kleczkowski by TKO (strikes) at 1:19 of round 2. Aaron Rosa beat Ron Fields by TKO (strikes) at 34 seconds of round 2. Antwjuan Hayes beat Kerry Schall by unanimous decision, 3 29-28s. Tom Belt beat Marcus Levesseur by TKO (strikes) at 4:10 of round 1. Mike Stumpf beat Dom O'Grady by TKO (strikes) at 3:53 of round 2.
TV fights: Joe Jordan beat Ryan Williams by unanimous decision, 3 29-28s. Clay French beat Jared Massouh by submission (rear naked choke) at 3:18 of round 2. Rory markham beat Jay Ellis by submission (rear naked choke) in 57 seconds. Bart Palaszewski beat Jeff Cox by KO at 3:07 of round 2. Forrest Petz beat Brian Gassaway by unanimous decision, 3 29-28s. Terry Martin beat Daiju Takase by DQ (3 low blows) at 3:35 of round 2. Main Event: Mike Russow beat Jason Guida by submission (guillotine) at 2:13 of round 1.
Attendance estimated at just under 2000. Monte Cox acknowledged that timing and especially weather (Midwest/Great Plains flooding) really hurt the crowd totals.

Update: Joe Jordan Vs. Ryan Williams - Awful fight. Joe Jordan takes a sloppy stand-up battle UD. Had Sylvia in his corner. Poor way to start the show. Boo's galore from the crowd.
Jameel Massouh Vs. Clay French - Great fight. Clay was relentless and Massouh displayed some skills as well. French was too much and won via Nrck Crank/RNC in round 2.

Jay Ellis Vs. Rory Markham - If nothing else this was at least quick and entertaining. Ellis comes out very intense as we learn he has fought 16 times in the past year. Rory is the crowd favorite and as the bell sounds Ellis charges him and jumps into what looks like a flying knee attempt without putting his knee forward. This results in Ellis treadmilling on Markham's head a couple of times. After hitting the ground Ellis quickly uses the cage to reverse position but leaves himself wide open for the triangle. Rory takes 10 seconds or so to secure the obvious triangle and Ellis taps within seconds.

Full results are now up in first post. Terry Martin had to be hurting after his DQ win, he took no fewer than 3 low blows in less than 2 rounds.
