After controlling the bulk of the action en route to a comfortable unanimous decision victory over fellow welterweight Marcus Davis, Mike Swick (12-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) says he has now adjusted to fighting at 170 pounds.
In just his second fight in the division since dropping from middleweight, Swick appeared to be a completely different fighter than the "Quick" that grinded out an admittedly less-than-stellar victory over Josh Burkman in January.

I agree, but it's the whole principle of the thing, it's cool that he's willing.

Yea, it is good in principle. I wanted Davis to win because I did not want Swick moving up the ladder and potentially have 3 Top 10 fighters that are training partners that are unwilling to fight one another. And if Fitch and Kos are both arguably Top 5, and Swick is still winning, it would be hard for any of them (especially Swick) to try and fight top 5 competition without fighting each other.

IMO if he fought KOS it would be a lot like his Okami fight Fitch would stand up more with him if KOS did it would be intresting to see right now I think he would lose both fights

Swick is good but I cant see him ever holding a belt or really even contending for a belt. He is exciting to watch but thats about it.

Are you two kidding me?!?! Koscheck better than Fitch? There's no way! Fitch would win a fight with Koscheck and here's why. Fitch's wrestling is just as good as Koschecks so he couldn't keep taking Fitch down. Fitchs standup is better so obvisiouly he would try to keep it standing, but if it did go to the ground he would fare well there too.
