I beleive him, and I thought Pride had a definite Japanese fighter bias sometimes, but I still miss Pride. Warts and all , it was the best thing going in MMA for a few years IMO.

If Mezger was coming up in MMA today he would be a beast.Even when he was close to the end of his career,he still gave both Silva and Liddell damn good fights.He's going to become one of the forgotten legends of the sport,along with the likes of guys like Igor.
