Surprisingly low but 10k minimum instead of 2k is a big deal.

But you can't say that UFC isn't paying their big stars enough.

Thats surprising. Almost all the fighters are being paid a lot less than they should be. Urijah Faber gets 10k per fight in the WEC and that's what PRIDE is paying Sakurai, Trigg, Misaki, and Kharitonov? I have nothing against PRIDE but that is almost an insult to these fighters.

Shocked at the pay for Trigg, Misaki, and Overeem.

I could have excused Trigg at 10K, being his second fight and all, but considering Diaz got more for his first, and considering Trigg was "lured" from his hosting duties, I think he should have gotten more.

Overeem seems underpaid, especially in comparison to Diaz, at least to me.

I really wish we could find out the REAL numbers. Foreign fighters supposedly get a lot more on the side because the IRS hammers them. (I think it's a 30% flat rate for foreigners.) K-1 supposedly did the same thing.

They can pay them "travel bonuses", "promotional pay" (for doing press interviews) and all kinds of stuff out of Japan to avoid Uncle Sam. Unfortunately, we'll never know.

Because it's Wand, the guy that has grown and been the star for Pride for the last 6-7 years...

That and he is by far the most experienced Priede fighter on the card... So if they do any sort of payscale like the UFC does, then it makes sense

This isn't true according to Davee Meltzer of the wrestling observer. Pride only lised Fedor at like a 100,000 last fight. He aqctually get's more than a million per fight. It's the same in the UFC. We don't see win bonuses, sponsorships, PPV reevenue bonuses. I wish they would stop releasing this stuff unless they can get the true numbers.

yeah im not saying he doesnt deserve the amount im saying why isn't hendo getting more? Hendo has been around almost just as long and is the only guy to ever hold two belts simultaneously yet he's making 3x less than the guy he just beat. thats great wandy has $150,000 but i think dan should at least make six digits.

this is pretty pointless now though cuz i think loller answered my question when he said this is payment before wins or losses.
