Herb was my favorite ref in most UFC fights until recently, but he still is better than Miragliotta....
Personally I am liking Yves Lavigne for having respect for what the fighters can and can't handle, one of his memorable actions in a fight was the Marcus Davis vs. Paul Taylor fight.....
What do you think?

Maybe the thread title should be "Which ref hasn't pissed you off yet?"

btw the Ref's and the Judges... i honestly dont know where this sport is going. They should get a middleman to manage the Ref's and Judges... but they'll agree with me and become unionized.

It's funny, not too long back people were all over Dan Miragliotta's nuts. Saying he is the next Big John and what not, and now it seems people have come back to their senses.... Right now I like Yves Lavigne the best, but this is hard to answer as recently I've seen a lot of questionable calls by the vets of the sport.

Yves Lavigne has my vote right now too.

I actually kind of like Miragliotta. He's cautious, and sometimes overcautious, but he knows what he's doing. Aside from the Kevin Ferguson vs. James Thompson fight (which wasn't in the UFC so it doesn't really apply to this thread), he's done a stand up job, and is good with his stoppages (even the Werdum one).
