Meia - Okami Marquart - Leites
Kapmann - Palhares Almeida - Macdonald
Who do you guys think would take it ?
I meant for this to be more of a contenders tournament winner taking on Franklin and then the winner of that taking on Anderson for the title.

no offense intended, but why a UFC MW tourney & leave out 3 of the best... rich, dan, & anderson?
Meia(could go either way) Leites(could go either way)

I dont think their would be much point putting anderson in, becouse he'd win and it would take the excitment out of the tourney. Most likley dan and rich would tear through it aswelll. Itd be cool for mabeys dan and rich to fight on the same card, and the winner gets anderson, looser gets tourney winner, then the winner of that fight gets the next shot? That would be cool.
I think itd go like this -
Maia (sub) Nate (dec)
Kapman (tko) Almedia (sub)
Nate Ud's Maia Almedia Decisions Kapman
Nate Ud's Almedia
So if we did it the way i said we'd most likley get Dan vs Anderson Rematch and Rich vs Nate, both fights id love to see.

I would love to see an Almeida - Meia final. Don't know who'd pick though.
Of course the problem is, would any of these guys get past Frankling for the shot at Anderson? I think the winner would need an automatic title shot.

Meia - Okami Marquart - Leites
Kapmann - Palhares Almeida - Macdonald
Until this post i never put thought of an Okami/Meia fight together in my head so this post blew my mind for a second, thinking about that fight. That's a really interesting matchup.
Would probably be boring to the casual fan, but as a BJJ guy, this fight would be a interesting fight. Wresling vs BJJ.
I'd take Marquart right now. Ask me this same thing in 6 months or so and i'm sure it'd be Meia, but I really want to see one or two more good fights from him. his standup has looked pretty good but i want to see it aginst a good striker.
But it wouldn't matter, i wouldn't take either fighter against Franklin/Hendo/Silva. That is just like a total nightmare for the entire weight class. To me it's almost as bad as Mephisto/Diablo/Baal (d2 players will get this) The first guy that beats Hendo or Rich will be the next guy i actually will consider a possible threat to Anderson.
