Well, this is it, folks. After years of government and media backlash, countless steps back and some memorably disastrous runs at the mainstream, MMA finally makes its major network debut with none other than Gary Shaw leading the way.
Hard to believe but EliteXC has made its mainstream push behind an odd assortment like reformed YouTube brawler Kimbo Slice and female MMA superstar Gina Carano. Both will be present and accounted for come 9 p.m. Saturday night on CBS and so should you if for no other reason than to see if John McCain shows up and tries to call the whole thing off. Gotta admit, it would be good for a few laughs.

Getting ready for it now...in fact because it's on the East Coast and I'm in Cali I will probably get off the Comp so I don't ruin the outcomes....Kimbo round 1 via KO!!!!

if JT keeps his distance he has a shot, at some point somebodys going to catch him by suprise and shoot in the we will see just how ready for mma he is.

I really hope so. I'm kinda tired of the "kimbo is the greatest heavyweight in MMA" BS but he keeps being spoon fed guys with glass jaws.

anyone know what time this comes on tv?? time warner and directv both say 105-305am. didnt know if that was a mistake or not. im ready for joey v vs baroni. kimbo vs jt dont really excite me but like smokin joe.

I liked it, production was a bit cheep. The thing that really ruined it was the bad stoppages, if they hadn't stopped it badly it would have been a really great show. Kimbo needs to start doing some huge conditioning training and Jiu-Jitsu escapes.
