World Extreme Cagefighting featherweight champion Urijah Faber knows he has bigger things to worry about -- such as Sunday's WEC 34 main event fight with Jens Pulver -- but the 29-year-old fighter says he eventually wants to avenge his only career loss.
Faber won his first eight professional fights before suffering a third-round TKO loss to current UFC lightweight Tyson Griffin at a September 2005 Gladiator Challenge event.
During a special podcast session coordinated by VERSUS, Faber said that he wants a second chance at beating Griffin, and he's willing to move up a weight class to get it.

You learn something new everyday, I didnt know Griffin KO'd Faber! Does anyone know if this is on youtube...ahh hell I will just look it up. Anyway Griffin is a stud, I just watched him on Unleashed tonite, I think he has a ton of potential. As far as Faber, he better just worry about Pulver for now.

I think Tyson would beat him again. He has size and great wrestling which is a bad style matchup for Urijah. Plus Griffin has heavier hands.

Faber in the UFC is what I'm looking forward to. I'm sure he will be a very good 155er he's strong for 145.

I'd be surprised if Faber was top 10 UFC LW

Condit would definitely do the best. First of all Faber would have to move up a weight class and we're talking about guys as strong as Sherk at 155 or as amazing as BJ. Condit has a better all around game the most welterweights even in the UFC with the exception of the top few maybe. But he wouldn't have to change weight class and he could easily catch up.

I dont think Faber could gain the weight to make Lightweight without being a bit out of shape. It may also slow him down a little. Also as mentioned Tyson has heavier hands. getting past Huerta and his striking, Florian and his elbows, Sherk and his wrestling, and Franca's Ju-jitsu it would be a huge challenge. Not to mention B.J. Penn if he got that far.
The guy on the other hand has great natural talent and it would be interesting how he would transition into this weight weight class. For now though he should be concerned about Pulver !

He's fighting Marcus Aurelio at UFC 86. Not sure if it's confirmed yet.
