It’s another battle of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) contestants as season six alumnus Matt “No Regard” Arroyo (3-1) is scheduled to face season seven’s Matt Brown (6-6) on The Ultimate Fighter 7 finale at The Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at 9 p.m. ET on SpikeTV.

MMAmania.com exclusively learned of the welterweight bout earlier this evening.

Can't say i terribly like this match up for Brown... if Brown doesn't get the quick KO i don't see him winning this fight. His stand up is probably better than Aroyo's but the ground games are worlds apart

Yea, I'll take arroyo for this one.

Who else do you think will get a call back?

CB, Kramer, Creuder, Amir, Jesse (obviously)

Riddle, Harris...maybe May (to get beat up)...perhaps Klein?

Has nobody bothered to check Arroyo's record?

I'm not sure if it is the same Matt Brown, but in his record Arroyo lost to a Matt Brown.

Man, they must not want Matt Brown to stay around. Because I don't see him winning this one. Bad matchup. If he can't stop Amir from submitting him how is he gonna stop an awesome BJJ guy like Aroyo? I like Brown so I hope he can keep this fight on his feet and KO Aroyo. I don't understand why there feeding Aroyo a KO striker I guess there trying to build him up. Not sure why I don't think he's marketable except for the fact that he was on TUF.

Well in MMAcca's defense it would have been posted by someone else soon anyway, its gash the fight gets announced so quick, i mean we only get them on 3 day delays so they could have waitied to release that info! i guess its NEWs right after the fight tho, oh well my 1st spoiled fight of the season, as long as i dont know the winners it aint so bad, will still enjoy the fight but would have enjoyed it more as i would have picked Brown to beat Amir

matt brown is extremely unimpressive. everyone talks about how tough he is and blah blah blah. i haven't seen anything from him to write home about. i don't think he deserves to even fight in the ufc on a fight card. i'm sure the only reason is because he likes to brawl and that is what occasional watchers of the ufc like to see.
