Guida by vegan domination. I love them both, but Guida has the heart to win this. He doesnt stop pushing, and unless Mac hits something serious, Clay will grind it out.

I gotta go with my boy Guida on this one. He's motivated this year and he's not going to let some TUF noob come in and make a fool of him. He's faced tougher competition recently and Guida brings a pace few can match.
Brilliant matchmaking for this fight, though. I am more stoked for this fight than any others on the horizon currently. It will be a HL reel fight.

Guida just has to much time in to let Mac punk him out
Erm.......Mac made his pro debut TWO YEARS before Guida...........
Not in the UFC, though. Guida has fought the tougher competition as of late, and he's been fighting in the UFC for just under 2 years now against opponents like Huerta, Aurelio, Griffin, Thomas, etc. He may have losses but they're all close losses.
Outside of Hayato Sakurai and Clay French (whom he lost to decisively) Danzig hasn't faced near the level of Griffin, Huerta, or Aurelio
Fair point.
However i think Danzig will relish the step up in competition and will only improve with each UFC fight. Starting with Guida....

I can see this happening just as much as I can see Guida taking it. It's really that close of a fight. I totally respect your opinion and would put about a 40% probability on it being the case. Danzig is no joke, but I'm still going with my boy Guida!
Whatever happens I'm going to love every minute of it

I am so happy for this fight, Danzig has bugged me since the first day I heard his annoying voice and seen his annoying ways. I hope I do not offend any vegans or whatever out there but that was ridiculous. It's one thing to think that way but a completely different thing to do it in a house full of guys. He could have kept quiet but it was always flys this and cows that.
Anyway Clay Guida is definitely a better fighter and I think with his wrestling and experience he can take a unanimous decision easily.

this is going to be a great fight. Both guys can fight at a breakneck pace. Fairly even in skills. I have mac winning by sub in the 3rd

guida is more skilled and athletic and should use his wrestling to grind out a decision. with that said, danzig is very smart and will take advantage if guida gets a little excited (which he has a tendancy to do). im still taking guida because of his raw skill advantage but mac could pull off a sub from the bottom if guida gets careless.
I agree with your assessment. I was suprised to see the UFC throw Mac to Guida already. Nate Diaz is having to face lower talent in his fights even though he is asking for stiffer competation. Not saying Mac is not a good fighter cause I think he is but I would of liked to see him fight once more first before facing someone like Guida. In my opinion Guida will win by either by KO or decision.

I agree that this fight is a tough one to call. As of now, I'm leaning towards Guida...

Dunno if someone already mentioned it but it doesn't look like this match up is happening during UFC 87, if at all. Danzig should fight in September but nothing has been signed.
I definitely want to see this fight. I am a big believer in Danzig's abilities but I wanna see a good test of his style.
