Sports games on the Genesis were legit, so that is where my allegiances were at that point in gaming history. Holyfields Real Deal Boxing, Joe Montana Football, World Series Baseball, and NBA Live were the Truth.

As it is now, I play strictly PC sports simulations now.

With my in-house bar and pool table in my living room, the console life has been relegated to bench warmer status.

Until UFC 2009 comes out, at which point I'll be able to pick up games like GTA4, COD4, and MGS4 in the $20 bargain bin.

Although I'm no longer a Nintendo fanboy, the NES is still my favorite. I must've had nearly 200 games when I got rid of it.

I still have all of the old systems and have game nights on occasion with some freinds. I would without a doubt go with the original NES. It was definitely the most bang for your buck. It had great gameplay and had the best game selection out of any of the systems. Atari 2600 had several classic games, but I prefer to play most of those games on my Mame cabinet, as the arcade versions were much better.

Well aren't you cool?

For the record NES was the best and Mike Tyson's Punchout is the greatest game ever made. Second only to the original Mortal Kombat for Sega.
