I think it also goes by alien abduction, incident at lake county. I remember watching it was a was like 13, and i couldnt watch it all the way through becouse i was to scared. So after reading the post on rotten.com earlier, it reminded me that they apparantly posted pictures of the body of the mother which they found all cut up and shit in a field miles away from the house so i decided to try and find the film on the internet and watch it. It took ages to find, and im pretty sure its not out on dvd but i got it eventually, and just finished watching it, i think every hair on my body is standing up! really freaked me out.
Anyways, nobody who i know has even heard of it let alone seen it, so i just thought id see if any of you guys have seen it?
Im to scared to sleep right now after watching it tbh

Certain aspects of this video are unbelievable
Im 51 minutes in to it right now and im leaning towards this being a fake
i dont kno about yall but theres just some things that are wrong
the mother.
why is she so worried about eating all the time?.if i was the mother and my 3 sons came in terrified AFTER the lights went out AND with a weird burn on one of thems hand i would be pissing my pants.but no she stays oddly calm and tells everyone to sit down and eat
the burn on mathews hand.
why the hell are they so calm about it?.all they do is run some water over it?.they didnt even look at the wound/burn on his hand that long.

everywhere he goes hes trying to get it on camera.kno i kno that this is a ONCE in a lifetime oppurtunity but some of the things he says and does makes me believe that this isnt real..to elaborate on this i will explain: when rosie sneaks off when she is supposed to be in the bathroom, she goes upstairs to try to see the alien, well finally they realize that rosie isnt in the bathroom and rush upstairs where the alien is trapped in the mothers room.they see rosie trying to move the bureau that is barricading the door to keep the alien in.ok so they grab rosie and start going down the stairs.BUT WAIT this is where things get really weird for me.ok u see kurt and his wife with rosie at the foot of the stairs, but tommy the filmer is standing above them on the stairs by himself with HIS BACK to the darkness and the alien in his moms room, just having a normal (under the circumstances) conversation.
Now it might just be me but i WOULD NOT have my back to ANY darkness ESPECIALLY if i knew that there was an alien behind me and all that weird stuff had been happening
 but like i said the vid isnt over yet and this is just some of the things i picked up on
when its over ill post again and share my thoughts

Well, the fact it has credits at the end with a list of actors, including Alien no 1 and alien no 2 make it pretty much common sense its not real tbh. Its pretty much common knowledge that if it is supposed to be real, its simply based on the footage that was apparently found. Just becouse its not real doesnt mean i cant be scared of it though.

Also, the main thing that got on my nerves was when they get back to the house after seeing the alien cutting the cow or whatever, and nobody beleives them so they just start screaming at each other. Its just like, guys, you've got it ******* recorded, just rewind the tape!

Haha, no way man, ive just got a pretty active imagination so soon as i got through watching it all i could think about was aliens coming to my house
I guess those types of films just scare me though, i mean, show me a film that most people say is scary like the excorsist (sp?) or halloween and im just bored out of my mind, then i see a film like the mcpherson tape and the blair witch project and i cant sleep after!

ok i knew that it was fake even though i had heard absolutely nothing about it beforehand because of like i said before there were to many things wrong with it.but to be honest i WANTED it to be real and by wanting it to be real i guess i was "tricked" into thinking that MAYBE it is real.

Fire in the Sky is crazy! its based on actual events but im sure it has been hollywooded up but its still scary. when they got him by the feet dragging him down that corridor. F*ck that. i would be kung fu'in someones a**.

i knew i recognized that girl in the bathroom from somewhere. then I found out she was in one of those national lampoon movies, and shes f'ing hot.
so after researching that 3 minutes into the movie, it kind of killed the rest of the movie
