JT can win this fight if he keeps his cool and doesn't rush in with his chin hanging out....
But that doesn't really sound like JT's style does it

I put JT winning, though I have doubts. If JT decides to go into this fight with a little sense though, even if he loses, he could prove to be Kimbo's best challenge to date. And with that being said,we could really see just were Kimbo stands on his skill level when it comes to MMA.

Keep this in mind when assessing the 2 fighters. If Thompson and Kimbo's roles were reversed and JT was 2-0 with wins over Bo Cantrell and Tank Abbott, and Kimbo had fought fighters like Neil Grove, Brett Rogers, Don Frye, Butterbean, Broughton, Fujita, Aleks Emelianenko there's a real good chance you'd have the exact opposite feeling about each fighter.
JT has been dedicating himself to his Greco Roman Wrestling at Team Quest, and was executing it perfectly until Rogers created a little seperation.
I think a few more months of training since that last fight, he will be able to get into the Greco Roman Clinch and wear at Kimbo until he puts him on his back.
Kimbo has never been in a situation like that and of course we won't know what happens until we see it, but JT is skilled enough and strong enough to hold him there while he works some GNP.
JT's strategy will be to bang to get in close enough to grapple, not as in previous fights where the strategy was to bang until one guy falls.
I have JT with a 2nd Round GNP. EDIT: Unless JT drops him in the 1st.
I am pretty sure I read that he is not training with Team Quest anymore. I think JT has a chance but Kimbo should knock him out. I think that Kimbo has a better chin then JT. Fujita busted JT's chin to pieces.

It's kind of funny here reading all these posts Kimbo this Kimbo that. I will start by saying i am no JT nuthugger. People questioning JT's chin i will remind everyone here how Don Frye rocked him with a clean shot and although he was dazed badly he came back to win this fight.
Say what you want but people who train with quest come prepared to battle when i seen Randy in Wandy's corner i knew Jardine was done. Team quest brings it to the table no disrespect meant to Bas but if i had my choice who to train with it would be team quest.
When it comes to punching power they both have it although Kimbo's is much more crisper and alot more techincal. He throws 1 of the cleanest right hooks today. IMO they will circle a lil size each other up and i think JT will catch him, they will clinch then a takedown followed by a sloppy scramble and it will end with JT on top pounding him out.
Sorry for all Kimbo's fans he is not fighting just a b level fighter or someone who was past his prime by 10 years and out of shape. I fail to fall into the hype. This is his first true test as a mma fighter.
I will say props to the marketing by Gary Shaw 1 would believe he learned from the ignorance of the UFC and dropping there new golden boy into the fire to quick (Lesner). How many people on here fell victim to the hype of Brock Lesner vs. Mir.
Sorry Gentlemen I see this baby going the same way.And Gary Shaws golden goose will lay no more golden eggs.

i honestly have this fight at 50/50. the underdog bonus has my picking JT...but i have had so many people convince me not to pick him that i am just confused now. i'll be switching my pick a lot in the less than 24 hours we have left. i mean, JT is a lot bigger than Kimbo, and i think he could wrestle him to the ground...but...i think Kimbo hits just as hard as Rogers so he could definitely knock him out in the first. i was so sure JT would end the Kimbo hype...i'm just now starting to think that i may have been psyching myself. i hate Kimbo and will be rooting for JT to knock his head into the stands. i just don't know if i can pick it

I was actually impressed with JT's cool against Brett Rogers until he got KTFO'd. I think Brett Rogers is going to be a pretty good fighter and I don't think JT took a bad loss in that one.
That being said if JT tries to tie Kimbo up against the cage he's going to suffer the same consequences as he did with Brett Rogers. JT has to survive the initial assault then take this to the ground and GnP a victory. That's the only way he can win this IMO. He's too willing to stand and trade and his chin is too suspect to earn that KO.

Good analysis. To be honest, I don't think anyone can be certain how the fight will go. My hopes are that JT will be able to implement the same plan he had against Rogers, but to a more effective degree of course.
II'm not going to hate on Kimbo for doing what he has to do - in any case, I'm going to root for JT all the way, win/lose/draw.
So **** the haters and the fairweather fans.

JT is gonna use his wrestling and GnP that ass. Unless Kimbo gets a lucky ko in the first two min we have no reason to believe he is nearly as well rounded as JT. He beat Yoshi on the ground. He had a war w/ Frye that showed us more in that one match than Kimbo has ever shown us.
Course many of you will only remember him as the guy that beat up Kimbo tomorrow. Whatever sells, I guess.
WAR JT!!!

Some good arguments in there, more than alot of JTWW propaganda.
WHAT??? WHAT COMPLETE NONSENSE!!! What Propaganda? Anybody who tells you JT will be the next Heavyweight champion should be taken dead serious as that is absolute fact
There's noone on the WW who's deluded. Noone that ever makes a serious post about him fighting for titles. We support him win or lose. I call that being a fan. If you wanna call it propoganda I guess that's your choice
And I know you know me from around the forums and can't say I've ever been like that.

Okay.. what I was going to say is that it looks like JT almost did win by GnP (T)KO. Wonder if he reads the playground and saw what me and JimiMak were saying haha
