DreamFighters.com's reporter/contributer "MMAPhD" has reported that Kid Yamamoto has just signed a fight deal with DREAM, as is set to fight at DREAM.4
As quoted earlier by Kid Yamamoto"
"I don't know when my next fight is yet, but I'm sure I fight in DREAM and I hope I can fight in Jun or July." "At first, I want DREAM to have a lighter weight class than the light weight class. 63 to 64 kg is ideal."
yay for good news

That is awsome. I was hoping to see him take Faber out, but I can't wait to see him in action.

wow thats great news, I think its safe to say that the mma monopoly is over, the ufc is still the front runner for now but if dream and affliction hold out and maintain they could be right on the ufc's heals

doubt it, The UFC still has it, and wont loose it to DREAM, dream might put on great fights, but outside of Japan they have very little influence on MMA, and the US is the biggest market, and they havent and probably wont reach it or even try. Affliction could make some waves, but seeing how they are starting off, i doubt it. they are getting alot of talented guys with no names in the US (barnett, rizzo, fedor, Lindland, etc....)and they have no one who is capable of carrying the card (like a chuck liddell), so even though they might have a great card, its more for the hardcore fans, which equal to a very low percentage in the overall picture. and they are paying them huge money, which leads me to think they'll loose alott of money.
Nways back on topic, its great to see Yamamoto signed to dream, is fighting at Lightweight for Now?

well PRIDE was the top of the food chain before the buyout. I dont think Pride was as popular in the US as the UFC was at the time. But it was still considered the best ORG. Dream can become the new Pride. or even Affliction. But I'm leaning more towards Dream cus of the production it has. I thinking MMA is bigger in Japan than US, but I think MMA will eventually be bigger here. I would like to see Dream and Sengoku co promote.

I'm really starting to like DREAM...with the exception of the annoying ring announcer.

i think this & the proelite deal show that Dream is for real.....shouldnt we start a petition to make Dream a major org on this site now?
