At today's DREAM 3 pre-fight press conference in Japan, DREAM and ProElite announced a working relationship between the two promotions that will include sharing of fighters and referees, as well as co-promoted shows in the future. This could also result in both promotions running more shows in Europe, Korea, and elsewhere.

If done right, this could really be something special. But I also wonder...how much, if any, did the whole Nick Diaz situation have to do with it? Surely it played a small part.

Seem's like a good idea for both. Dream wants to get big in the US and Canada and Elite may want some of the Japanese market. This also makes for some interesting fights.

wow, it would be amazing if Elite was able to showcase some of the Dream fighters on their CBS cards. A move like this is only good for the sport of MMA.
Now, if Dream could offer their cards on PPV to those without a HD TV and the accessibility to get the HDNet channel in America.

I had read in the USA Today's report yesterday on Affliction's card that Affliction is trying to set up Aleksander Emelianenko to fight Paul Buentello on the Fedor-Sylvia card.
