to Ortiz has been a vocal critic of both Dana White and the UFC payscale for much of his MMA career, so it only makes sense that he would combine his two favorite topics as the last fight on his current contract draws near. A recent video from Throwdown features Ortiz with some incendiary rhetoric and fuzzy logic as he rails against the UFC and his former manager:
“Back then [Dana White] used to fight for things that I believe in. He fought for me to get paid more money…He was the guy battling for me. Now I’m battling against him. I’m not asking the fans for more money. I’m not asking you guys for more money. I’m asking the company that you guys pay for more money.
We’re the modern day gladiators, and we’re getting treated like gladiators…those guys were slaves. I feel like a slave. Yeah, I get paid a little money, but these guys are keeping the big revenue.” .

I was hoping TITO was going to be in the headlines that came up today saying the UFC cut another fighter. TITO is a washup. Lyoto will murder him and then he will realize why the UFC wont pay an poor performing employee a lot of money. More props to the UFC if they make lots of money. That are the Chuck Liddel of MMA but they use a pen.

UFC fighters are getting paid way too little but Tito isn't one of and neither is Randy. RANDY HIMSELF MADE THAT CONTRACT! Asking for more money was absolutely absurd.
But something I can agree on is the UFC fighter definitely don't get paid enough but then again MMA isn't that big yet. Once ESPN starts showing highlights of fight on Saturday Nights and Sunday morning then you can start giving out a million dollar paychecks. Keith Jardine is a great example. He outclassed Liddell and got $10-11,000 dollars for winning and Liddell got like $100,000 to lose.
But I agree with Tito on this and am expecting another Tito GNP win at 84!!!

Technically Dana made $12 Million if he paid taxes. Still that is 4 times more than Tito made in his UFC career. Interesting figures but that is why owners and managers make more money than the people who sell the product ! How many of us work for a Bullshit-ass company and get paid considerably LESS than our superiors??? Don't get me wrong I am not Knocking Tito for wanting more money, in fact I think some of the top Tier fighters should be making more money but your dealing with a company that is owned by guys with Casino's in their name ! I hope Tito wins so I can hear what he has to say !

100,000-200,000 seems about right for the big dogs. Maybe even 300,000 or maybe even 4 for a big mega fight like Hendo-Silva or Liddell-Ortiz.
But the newbies should at least get 10-20,000 for the first one of two fights. Then for veterans like Leban, Starnes, Quarry, Thiago Silva, and Soko should get like 40.50,000.
Giving fighters like Jardine 10,000 for a big time win is BS!!! Plus fighters only fight 2-3 fights a year so their only bringing in 20,000-30,000 a yea. My mom makes that working at Wal-Mart and we dead poor. PAY YOUR FIGHTERS RIGHT DANA!!!!

All this talk = less time in the gym. He should be worrying more about his up coming fight and less about Dana. If he didn't like his contract then he shouldnt have SIGN IT.
