Gomi didn't pace himself and swing wildly too many occasions. There are so many time I felt like he should've gone for the guiottine on Nick. Nick have very impressive recovery.

Man, I hate his attitude but he's an awesome fighter. Way to go Diaz! Man this shakes up the Lightweight rankings, especially since Diaz lost to Sherk. Gotta me some nice fantasy coin from Diaz!

Ah, screw my ranking now, I already lost my ass off tonight.I picked Wandy, but I wanna see Hendo pull this one off. After the earlier upsets, it somehow seems more possible now.Not likely, but possible.

Yea diaz was more technical gomi seemed like he was just trying to get a knockout and leave.

Notice when he almost tossed his hands up on that knock down. I think he underestimated Nick.

I pick Diaz too but I only accepted 2 wagers, man I should've accepted more, but they were waging 1:1, so I didn't take it.

Man, Gomi gassed faster than a fat guy on a treadmill.

If his excuse is that he did not train hard enough for this fight, I would have lost a lot of respect for him. Diaz is a tough competitor (I actually saw this going to an unanimous decision victory for Gomi) and it would be foolish not to train hard for him.

It's obvious that Gomi totally underestimated Diaz. He must of been shittin his drawers when Diaz showed he could take as much as he could dish out. Hopefully we get to see a rematch.

Gomi was swinging for KO the whole first 4/5 minutes of first round while Nick was just countering, so he's going to gas. He didn't pace himself and seem rush to wanting to KO Nick instead.

i was gonna make this thread, but why not just revive an old one?

this is how i see the fight in my head...i see Diaz beating gomi to the punch the whole first round and annoying Gomi with those little combo's he throws and forcing Gomi to take him down and i think Diaz will submit gomi or win a decision

Diaz has fought the tougher opponents and that only makes him stronger

i wonder if Diaz can intimidat gomi with trashtalk and staring him down...

thats what i posted long ago on a gomi vs diaz thread...

if you want to see it it bumped it up
