well 40ouncetofreedom...i have to spread the love...but all i have to say is that although Detroit is a solid team with great goal tending in the playoffs...i think the offensive blitzkrieg of Crosby, Malkin and Hossa will be too much. plus, Fleury seems to be playing on par with Osgood and although HZ is on fire right now i just see Detroit not being able to slow the game down enough which will allow the Pens to create explosive plays that will win them the series.

Pens in 7

They said they were canadian and have never seen people tailgate before a hockey game before..I found that rather amusing.

.

Actually, being Canadian I can say that tailgate parties are not part of our culture. I always thought it was more of a football thing, rather than hockey.

UH yeah look at your numbers...Hes gotten better every year. The Geritol wings stand no chance.

Plus His first 2 seasons we were amongst the worst teams in the league... BUt it reallty doesnt matter what his past numbers are so thats why didnt mention them as you did...This is the present not the past and hes gotten better every year...

But his numbers are still not great and you cannot judge any goalie as being great or not great based on a single playoff performance.

yeah fluery is still a toss up right now where as osgood is on fire, this is why im leaning heavily toward the wings, superior puck control and goaltending will be the difference

tonights victory of teh pens showed that if you pressure fleury alot and use lots of give and go's you can score, that is if you can get past the how good they are defending fleury, the pens looked terrible tonight you would think they were up 3-0 judging fron tonight this cold war in pennsylvania will be good

heh, the comeback is on!

Itd be awesome if dallas where able to pull it out, coming back from 3 down against a far superior wings side (imo) and winning would be one of the biggest upsets i can remember. Plus itd make it easier for the pens in the finals, when they seal it tomorow. I hope

Pens looked very good tonight, good showing for fluery aswell.

Pens over dallas in 4 in the final haha.

Seriously though, i think itl go to the 7th game against the wings, but the pens will pull it out. Like i said before though, even if they loose, such a dominating sting of play off performances and a conference title is more than good enough for me.

I was joking, i meant pens over dallas in 4 in the final, but i was taking the proverbial urine.

Then in the last part i was being serious and meant the pens to beat Detroit in the final in 7.

p.s. whats tailgating? ive never even heard of that!

I'm sure there's just another name for it in the UK... Normally occuring in a parking lot outside of a sports venue... It's basically when people set up some lawn chairs outside their cars... Grill some food, drink some beer, toss a football / frisbee... Just do whatever hangin out before the game or event, catch yourself a little buzz, so on and so forth... It's usually a lot cheaper than going to the bar or something, and more fun
