Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight titleholder Randy "The Natural" Couture resigned from the UFC on Oct. 11, 2007. Since his departure, his fighting future has been tied up in lawsuits between the fighter and mixed martial arts' largest organization.

anti couture marketing machine? he should have told the IFL to disassociate his name with their association immediately. he should have contacted the ufc and said " i have nothing to do with this, can you send a letter requesting they take my name off the website and promotion". he knew he was promoting himself. the only anti couture marketing being done is by himself. fight fedor and go away

IMO, Its maybe too late for him now. 'If' he ever has another fight, By now he would of lost all the momentum he has gained as the champion and would be fighting with more pressure than ever to win. I just dont see after all this bullshit, Randy coming out and beating Fedor, Or Nog for that fact because we all know they are his only 2 possible fights left.
Chuck Liddell destroyed him twice in row, He is far from being the best in the world, Fedor would maul him. I just wanna know what he took to make him believe he is that good, I mean I know he has talent, But beating Silva was good, and then Gonzaga, Thats not no Nog and Fedor there.
So Theres my rant, Im just a sick of Randy playing games. Go Scorpion King 2!,

Just the title of this thread makes this Couture nut hugger feel very sympathetic towards him.....
But then as a hard core fan and businessman I realize that RANDY OWNS THE MESS HE IS IN and nobody else
I hope his gym goes well...... Because we won't see him fight again

I don't think Randy realizes that most people don't even know that he left the UFC let alone who Fedor is. He thinkd these statements are going to help gain him support but all it is doing is turning those people that were supporting him against him.

I use the horse because I like it.

I wonder why this thread has not been cancelled like the threads I started questioning Randy's record. It is questionable!!!!
But I don't want to say too much or this post will be deleted.

Randy got too big in his own head.
He's legally in the wrong so Zuffa has the upper hand legally. He's morally wrong for signing a 4-fight contract and then demanding more money 2-fights in. So Zuffa is winning the legal battle and by dragging it out and forcing people to take a closer look at what Randy is doing they are winning the PR battle.
As much as I would love to see Randy vs. Fedor, I wish Randy would have just fulfilled his contract and THEN went after the Fedor fight.

you sir have just earned a prop im sick of hearing about it. one thing is for sure all this drama has pretty much turned randy's fan base against him. read through the threads mostly everyone blames randy for this fiasco now. i don't even think he deserves to fight fedor. he is a tough ol bastard but beating a super over rated gonzaga proves nothing. he couldnt hang at heavyweight dropped to lhw and got owned so he had to retire he came back got an immediate title shot. imo rnady is overated as well. this is the last randy thread i post in til all is over. im sick of hearing about it.
