Personally I would much rather see Rampage vs. Anderson. Much more interesting, because I dont think Rampage would win. I think Anderson would keep him outside all night with punches and kicks. Rampage wouldn't be able to get the takedown because Rampage fears knees(Shogun, Wanderlei) and if he shot he would probably eat a knee and we all know he coudn't tie up with Silva. Just a bad style match-up for him, Rampage isn't nearly as good on the ground and even if he did get Silva to the ground he wouldn't be able to get a good GnP position because he would NOT be able pass Silva's guard. Sooner or later Silva would hurt Quinton with a shot and then flurry with knees, kicks, punches, and elbows until Rampage would get so tired and hurt that the referee would have to call an end to it. It would be a very exciting fight though, Rampage would land some good hook shots and put on a show, but in the end it would go to Silva.

I don't think GSP/Silva would be as exciting and GSP is only 5-10, Silva is 6-2, GSP is way more lean and smaller. Rampage is 6-1 and thick and I think that Silva/Rampage would be a more evenly matched fight(not taking anything away from GSP).

UFC make this fight happen. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs. Anderson Silva

Of course Anderson would have to go up in weightclass, Rampage couldnt cut to 185. Obviously

I think a fight with rampage would be more competitive. I think id pick anderson to beat them both tbh but i think jackson would put up more of a fight.

Rampage doesnt shoot in, he usually gets the takedown from a clinch position.

I think Its a little more evenly matched up than what the TS stated

Why? Rampage believe it or not is not a great striker, Rampage said himself, he's a brawler. How would Rampage beat him? Silva's got a granite chin and his striking is 30 years ahead of Rampages, on the ground Silva as well, he submitted Hendo with ease and Lutter. Hendo and Rampage both brawl on the feet and Hendo has got just as much power as Rampage does, if not more. Rampage is NOT unbeatable, there are a lot of guys who I think would give him a hell of a fight. Anderson is going to get the record for the most title defenses, everyone knows that. If anyones unbeatable right now its definatley Anderson Silva. Also Rich Franklin said being in the clinch with Anderson is like being in the clinch with Big Tim, thats strength, so dont say Rampage would overpower Silva. Knees are Rampages worst nightmare, Shogun and Wanderlei ring a bell, guys who are ranked way under Anderson at the moment. 1 title defense in a year is not unbeatable(Rampage). 5 defenses(technically) is pure DOMINANCE!!! That would be MR. Anderson Silva.

First off it would be hard for Rampage to make that weight and Silvas striking would be thrown off if he packed on the weight. If in a perfect world they could fight tomorrow at what they weigh I think Rampage would throw Silva all over the cage. What Jackson might lack in striking he could make up in the fact that he would be able to overpower Silva at any point of the fight. I agree 1 title defense is not unbeatable but beating an out of shape Lutter and an overhyped Marquardt isn't exactly stellar either. GSP will put an end to Silva's reign (if Okami doesn't first)

Gsp vs Anderson they are way closer in natural weight

Gsp supposedly doesnt cut much weight at all, Natural Weight 175-180
Anderson cuts close to 30 pounds. Natural Weight 210 - 215
Rampage cuts about 25-30, Natural Weight 230-235

Rampage and Anderson are closer in natural weight.

I've heard he cuts down from about 190. think he said that in an interview, but can remember.

Personally I think all 3 of them probably cut aroun20-25 pounds. Rampage would most likely demolish Anderson.

Gsp would GET absolutely demolished by Anderson.

If I had to make a choice I would be Dana and say, "hey, u know what, silva vs rampage is expletive great!"

Anderson can stay at middleweight and possibly be known as the greatest of all time at that weight, or he can risk it all over him getting bored.

Anderson at catchweight or at 205 is an amazing thought because no matter what u know that he can ko or submit anyone at any time but the matchups are much more interesting due to that question of, "is this guy at 205 too strong?"

If you have that question then you have people lining up in anticipation because they know it's one of those fights where ANYTHING can happen and something crazy is even likely to happen.

I want Anderson at 185 but imagine the anticipation of Anderson blowing away a crappy 205 pounder and he gets a shot. The anticipation and hype would be phenominal.
