What did you guys think of Jacare in Dream MW Tourney??
He completely demolished that guy (cant remember his name)
Im picking Jacare to take the tourney.... I think he can pull it off.

yea from that fight you could defenately tell how high his level of BJJ was, he has great potential, and he didnt look lost while standing, and had great transitions, he can defenately take the tourney, but anything can happen. Hopefully after the DREAM tourney he'll go into the UFC, he might be the one of the biggest threats to Anderson silva.
notice that the middleweight division all of a sudden has been stacked up with great BJJ practitioners? (Maia, Almeida, Jacare, etc.....)

honestly though...was there any doubt in your mind that Jacare would beat a wrestler fresh out of college with no previous professional MMA fights? not that much of a spoiler but i understand your complaint.

well u didn't mention that before. hotrodttt also wrestled him before so that is pretty cool. either way, Jacare is one of the top grapplers in the world. his BJJ is world-class, the closest thing to his level of BJJ in the UFC is Demian Maia. i hope to God that Jacare gets paired up with Sakuraba, the ground battle in that fight would be insane
my personal pick to win it is Gregard and has been from the start...but i would love it if Jacare won.

Jacare definately has a huge advantage in all of the grappling aspects but i would like to see him fight a strong striker who also has great takedown defense. Im not quite sure anyone in this tournament really fits that profile so he has a good chance in my opinion. If i would have picked someone to beat him it would have been Kang.

I'm guessing he'll want to still compete in JJ tourney's.... Also Manhoef is in this tourney with the winner of his fight at Dream 3 facing Zelg so he could be a big probelm.

Ian Murphy, a college wrestling standout. He almost got a bit of a free pass considering he was supposed to fight Trigg, so I think it's just a little too early to judge him too much, let's wait and see how he fares in the next round.
