Come on guys... In all fairness, he DID submit Kit Cope lol. Franca would've submitted him before Kenny would've. My prediction is, and I hope I'm wrong, Penn gets Sherk in a guillotine when Sherk shoots on him. I am a huge fan of both guys, but Sherk is so underrated, I hope he wins.
That won't happen. It's a physical impossibilty to choke Sean Sherk out with a Guillotine. His neck muscles are so strong, you would need to clamp on an industrial vice to pinch off the blood flow to his brain.
BJ just can't supply the power it would require to choke out Sean Sherk.
If BJ chokes out Sherk, i'll eat my computer screen.
I believe Frank Mir (before or after his fight with Lesnar) said that on really muscular guys the neck and the legs are the most vulnerable places. Edit: As far as submissions go.
Also, I don't think that BJ will go for a submission right of the start . I think BJ wants to punish Sherk.

Anyone who says BJ can't choke out Sherk has no idea what they're talking about or how the mechanics of a choke work.
One of you will wind up having to eat a screen, cuz that's most likely (90%) how it's gonna end.

ninja cyborg is a moron. bj will either stop the fight with a cut or a RNC. You would think after watching the shape bj came into with joe stevenson, that no1 would doubt his cardio anymore. bj came in with abs! does everyone forget that bj went 5 rounds with pulver and uno? out of sherks 34 fights , hes only gone 5 rounds twice. theres no way sean sherk can win this fight other then a 5 round decision lay n pray. extremely unlikely considering bj's sprawl and guard are phenomenal. I also wouldnt be surprised is bj TKo'd him with his own gnp.

Bj can choke out sherk
if bj wins i bet that it will be with a RNC.
i don't think he can triangle or guillotine sherk tho
bj might be able to pull off a leg lock but i think sherk is experienced enough not to get caught with that.
i pick sherk by decision.

Still a little nervous on who to pick for this one I hate to bet against BJ but I have a feeling Sherk will do well in this one i'll be debating them up till the last minute of the picks.in my head.

I guess I should have been more specific. BJ probably can rear naked choke Sherk, but it will be nearly impossible for BJ to Guillotine Sherk.
I may be a moron, but I understand mechanics quite well. A short, stubby, muscular neck (like Sherk has) will be much more difficult to Guillotine.
And notice I did not say Impossible, I said nearly impossible.
But i'm certain BJ will not win with any type of neck submission.

Yes, a properly applied guillotine can take out anyone. But Sean Sherks muscular neck design will make it very difficult for BJ to properly apply a guillotine. Which is why i'm willing to eat my computer screen if BJ wins by guillotine.
