Does he have a fight scheduled? Last I checked he doesn't. Who should he be fighting now? I think he should be definitely fighting the top competition in the MW ranks. He may not be the best crowd pleasing fighter, but he is effective and good at what he does.

Maybe a fight with Dan Henderson? I think that would be a great match up, if he could pull of a win, then he deserves a fight with A. Silva.

What do you think?

umm im pretty sure he's the no.1 contender right now and is probably going to fight A.silva at 87 or 88, for a rematch.

I think should be a solid match up at least. No other contenders.

I agree with twenty, hes number one contender... if there was anyone else close to being a contender, i'd want a number one contendership solidification fight... but as it is, there is just no one else to fight Silva, and Okami holds a DQ victory over Silva due to Silva kicking Okami in the head when they were on the ground... so that needs to be settled. Still i can't see anything else besides Anderson by complete domination anyway so...

Yeah I definitely think he deserves a title shot, but I don't know if Dana White and Joe Silva would book that match because it wouldn't have much selling power, other than the fact that their first match ended in DQ..... I really wish he could get a title shot soon

well they could sell it as a co-main event if they do a double title fight PPV. or have a huge co-main event fight.

See ufc doesnt want to keep silva inactive while the MW division fights to see who is on top, while okami is the only option if you dont wait.

I wouldnt mind see this fight thats just me though

How crazy would it be if Okami beat Silva? Man, everything would be turned upside down....just like how Serra KO'd St Pierre or Cro Cop getting knocked out by Gonzaga...

Yeah i think he should be getting the next title shot. I think he would of had it earlier if it wasnt for dan moving down or that shit about him going to fight for heros.

Silva vs Okami is the only fight that really makes sense at this point in the division. Until they have fighters step up or get new talent into the division to make it stronger it will continue to be the weakest division.

I think he'll main event UFC 87. Lesnar vs. Coleman does not justify being a main event because Lesnar loss to Mir...it'll be teh co-main event. Henderson has a date with leben.

Is this rumored, true, or just an idea you had? either way that sounds like a great matchup. I used to hate leben but I can't remember the last time he was in a boring fight

but ya okami should be fighting anderson, a decision loss is the only blemish on his ufc career i believe. It should be okami and then maybe chonan can move up n they will have anderson avenge his losses like they had chuck do. by then hopefully henderson will have earned a rematch because even though i ws pulling for anderson that fight ended too soon

silva beat nate,

I think Okami should get the next tile shot. He's the only man to score a KO win over Evan Tanner at middleweight.

I agree with everybody here... Okami deserves the next title shot against Silva.

Dan Henderson should get the winner of Franklin-Lutter.

Thats prob the best idea. Okami is the only guy really left that deserves a title fight and hasnt already lost to Silva. McDonald had some hype for awhile til Franklin and Okami murdered him.

Okami should have a contender fight.
