Randy Couture made some recent comments to MMA Weekly regarding the grappling match between he and Kurt Angle that Angle has been talking up for quite some time now, saying it’s signed on the dotted line, etc. According to Randy, Angle may be jumping the gun a bit:LINK

I really hope this actually happens. I love watching submission grappling matches as much as MMA. And this could be very interesting. They are both incredible wrestlers but different styles (Freestyle vs Greco). But then when you add in the submissions it seems like it would give Randy a big edge. Angle will only know to put Randy on his back which won't do anything.

Look, this is a novelty act. I don't think there's a person on the planet who thinks Kurt Angle has a chance here and that includes Kurt Angle. This is a paycheck for Randy and nothing else. Sorry Kurt.

I hope Angle does sign for the ufc in the future it brought a huge smile to my face when i saw all the pro wrestlers faces when Mir locked in that kneebar on Lesner hopefully Angle would get the same treatment.
