Don't take too much stock in it yet, but here's a coupled rumored fights for the Fedor / Sylvia event...
Andrei Arlovski vs Ben Rothwell
Babalu vs Mike Whitehead
Josh Barnett vs Pedro Rizzo
Aleks Emelienenko vs TBA
If there's any truth to these rumors, this would be an awesome card... But rumors are rumors afterall.... So I hope no one gets too excited, but we can all hope right?

wow, that would be an incredible undercard that I wouldn't mind shelling out 40 bucks to see on PPV. Hopefully it looks something similar to that.

Even if that event happens in july, I cant see Arlovski being signed and ready to fight in time to be at that event. Plus, why wouldnt they save that fight for a main event. It definately deserves one.
Whitehead vs Babalu is a fight i really want to see. Whitehead is one of those guys that i think could make a run for the UFC title if he ever gets a chance to.

Sobral vs Whitehead is a real possiblility. They were supposed to fight in June under the Affliction/golden boy production banner. They were also supposed to fight under the platinum fight banner. I hope this fight happens. I hope Mike beats Renato, he is a hometown guy and I will always root for him, he is a class act and one hell of a nice guy.

wow...that would be a nice card...but I want AA to stay in the ufc personally...
but I will say Rothwell vs Arlovski would be a really cool fight to watch...not sure who I would go with... Rothwell has the better chin I think...but AA is more wellrounded..and a lot quicker with his hands...

If this happens the UFC should just drop the Heavyweight division because this great card with great fights will put that division to shame!
But I highly doubt the Arlosvki fight will happen. I don't see him fighting until August or September and against a can if it's outside the UFC. I don't think they'd start him off with a heavy hitter like Rothwell with his suspect chin and all. He'll go down hard!!!
But the Fedor/Tim fight I am looking forward too and Rizzo-Barnett 2!! It's going to be sick! Both are good grapplers but Rizzo has the advantage on the feet and will KO him again if it stays their. Black belt or not, Barnett you must out wrestle that man!!! Will be a crazy fight though!
