Add a middleweight slugfest between Marvin Eastman and Drew McFedries to the growing list of bouts slated for The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 7 Finale at The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada, on June 21, according to recent MySpace post from the “Beastman.”

Here’s the snip:

“the next victim of the beastman is on june 21 at the palms casino on the finale of the ultimate fighter, forrest vs rampage. drew mc fedries is my last fight under contract with the ufc. this contract was a buyout from the purchase of the WFA BUY THE UFC. I GOT ‘RIPPED’ so stay tuned because im comming old school beastman on free tv. 1 love”

Ive got to say that i think this is a big step down for Eastman. I would have him fighting someone in the top 15. I realize there isnt a lot of options there but i think he could fight Okami (that is if they arent going to give Okami the title shot).

Maybe its because its the last fight on his contract and they arent going to resign him. In that case i guess it makes sense.

Should be a slugfest at least.

Yeah man i was thinking the same thing!
Eastman's getting on a bit now and i can't see him challenging for the title, so i think you might have got this right. A nice slug fest to see him out the door!!

Drew is gonna KTFO eastman IMO. give drew so time to get comfortable in there and IMO he'll be at the top of the division in no time. Come a rematch against cote and i think he'd KO him, personal problems got in his way, but this is a good fight to get him back on track.

Whoah, what did I miss? Since when has Eastman earned a top 15 fighter? He's coming off a KO loss to page, and a lackluster boring hugging clinic with Terry Martin, who's not even top 25 IMO. Okami is top 5, how would he been in discussion in a fight with Eastman, especially when he might be coming off the biggest win of his career, and by knockout!

I think it's a great fight, people were saying Terry/Eastman would be a slugfest and it didn't deliver, but that was Martin's fault, and Drew does not play like that. This is ending in the 1st by KO at the hands of Drew! A great fight for both to get their career's back on track but Drew is just too vicious and I doubt Eastman's chin is as good as Cote's.

This fight should be explosive though!

Slugfest! The only one who might turn it into a ground fight or even go into the clinch in Eastman. In fact I think right now I'm thinkin Eastman will win. Good matchup no matter what.

eastman can win this taking down mcfedries if eastman is getting beat on his feet.

So how is the TUF 7 finale going to work, they are going to have the last TUF fight to see who wins and then its going to be like a fight night. or are the other cast members going to be on the undercard

a Bit of both, of course there is gonna be the fight to see who is the winner, and after that it'll be pretty much a fight night, except with alot more fighter from that season, either they'll match them up against other contestants on the show, or just mtach them up against guys in the roster, but most fights will be between the contestants, just look at TUF 6 finale, every fight was between guys that competed in the show, with the execption of the main event.
