Nightmare of Battle found a nice nugget about Melvin Manhoef’s next bout in an interview by fightnewz.net:
On May 11 I’m going to fight a single match in the DREAM light heavyweight tournament and on May 17 I will maybe fight in England.LINK

He should be in the UFC
he could beat a lot of guys, like anderson silva and rich franklin, but would get killed stylistically by guys like okami, lutter and marquardt.
would love to see him in there

he's fought at middleweight before, so im sure he can make it. I'd say he could take out franklin, but not Silva though.

.........I'd like to see Kimbo vs Hunt, or Kimbo vs Sefo, Or Kimbo Vs Mighty Mo. Those would be great fights IMO, all which i think he'd get KO'd, i would specially would like to see him against Mo, i can just see that overhand right crushin kimbos face.

Wish I got a chance to see him more, cause he kicks some ass!!
Dreams is on its way to looking like Pride. Just wish they had a sick HW group of guys, but they dont :(

yea, specially with the huge pool of HW's outside the UFC, after the get on firm ground, im sure they'll look to expand, Im sure they'll go, and probably get most of pride HW's like Fedor, Barnett, Sergei, Aleks E., overeem (fighting at HW now), Hunt. And if they are willing to do Co-Promotions, we could potentially see Sylvia matchin up against these HW's, same with rothwell, amongst the other fighters like rizzo and so on.

It's going to be dope to see Manhoef fighting again. I think he could beat Rich at middleweight but I don't think he can beat Anderson Silva though.
Yeah, I'm hoping Dream continues to sign a lot of good talent as they have been. I would love to see them sign guys like Fedor, Sergei and Barnett. It only makes the sport stronger if one promotion doesn't have all the best talent.

I agree that Anderson would be a bad matchup for Manhoef...unless Anderson stands with him the whole time. Manhoef is a K-1 level striker, he's so friggin powerful (he touches you and you could be down for a while). I think Anderson would sub him asap though.
