I love Mir and think he is going to win but i think people are giving McCully a bad wrap. Hes a very skilled fighter and this one is going to be a technical ground battle. Should be a fun one to watch for those that are into that kind of thing.

If McCully gets on top of Mir and looks as sloppy as he did against Hardonk from the top (which was excusable, as Hardonk doesn't have submissions from the guard in his repertoire), he'll be arm barred in 2 seconds.

Well i guess thats a prelim then

the UFC are dumb not using Frank Mir against a bigger name opponent and pushing him for a title shot, he is now their ONLY EX UFC HW CHAMPION!!! and he has come off a big win, like Breen said never again will there be this much interest in Frank

Justin Mccully is a Tito Ortiz guy. Meaning he's mainly a wrestler trying for that gnp. I've seen him fight, his sub defense is about as good as mine. I think Mir will drop guard right away and let Justin think he's in his element, then mir will pull off something amazing with the quickness.

Frank Mir is amazing in terms of positioning his body just right.

McCully's BJJ is underrated. He does have a black belt. I dont think he has shown the full range of his submission skills yet.

+1 if you're right. I would love to see mir's BJJ tested. I dont think he's fought anyone with his mastery of jits yet.
