It's nothing to get all worked up over though...he's new, he has shown potential, and needs to be tested. Put him up against a grappler and see what happens... that's the heart of MMA!

Give Kimbo a break. He's doing something he loves and is training his arse of and showing respect for the sport. It's not his fault if he is a draw because of streetfights. There are a lot more overrated fighters out there. Why not flame them also?

Chuck would actually stand and trade with Kimbo so I would'nt rule out either one of them winning, think about it!

Kimbo wasn't training with Bas when he fought Gannon either. I think Bas is doing alot for his game. weather or not he is the real deal remains to be seen.
I'm sure they will feed him a can on the debut of EXC on CBS next may to hype him up.

He gets one more hype up fight before I'm done with the guy. If they feed him another can after the broadcast TV show there's no love from this guy. Honestly I can understand from EliteXC's PoV why they would want him to drop another can, but not from Kimbo's PoV. If he doesn't face a legitimately rounded opponent in his next 2 fights I'm going to stop defending the guy.

Until then- I have faith in him because Bas has faith in him. His groundgame I'm sure is wayyyy suspect right now, but his standup has certain fundamentals to it that I like and am interested in seeing more of.

And Liddell joked: "I could make some impressive knockout videos too if you let me walk outside and just punch people and knock them out – "hey you, come fight!"

"F*** we can make a highlight reel tomorrow and go round beating people up and talk about it – we could just go up to people and start dropping them – wow!"

this is the funniest thing I have ever heard Chuck say

I know it is not Kimbo's fault but it is really stupid of EliteXC because when people look at the records of his opponents and when he gets exposed the casual fan is going to fell cheated and love the UFC even more

All i have to say is that i dont think that Bas would train this guy if he didnt feel he had the tools and the drive to be a good fighter. He needs to be tested.....I hope EXC puts him up against Thompson. It would be a good match up and could awnser a lot of ? about Kimbo

Chuck is REALLY taking advantage by talking ****, just cuz he beat Wandy, doesn't mean he can go and talk smack about Fedor, Kimbo, Tito, and Nog saying he could beat them all and all that crap. he is STILL 1-2 in his last 3 fights. Once he takes Rashad, then let the crap talkin begin.

Hopefully you are kidding, Chuck can talk about Kimbo all day long, he has proven himself, I cannot beleive that Rampoage was talking crap about Wandy after losing to him twice, heck almost everyone in the LHW and HW division of the UFC can talk crap about Kimbo, he is new to the sport and is over hyped by a UFC wannabe

Great job Chucky boy. I think that all was well said and I agree 100% with what he said. Although I think down the road Kimbo can be a great fighter, I don't think they should be hyping him as much as they are.

Chuck is right ....right now in Kimbo's career he would get smashed by top 20 fighters. Kimbo has potential and with Bas help he might amount of something but i think Kimbo would get KO'd against the better strikers in the game and thats definately his strongest asset....Chuck would kill him.

I would say top 30 or 40 would find a way or a plan to beat him, maybe not at his own game but Marrero and O'Brien and a few other 30-40 fighters could show him something new in the cage
