When it comes to competing and fighting, Kurt Pellegrino blames everything on his father. That’s just fine in the lightweight contender’s eyes, as fighting has become more than just a hobby or an outlet – it’s a way of life and the way he supports his wife and daughter.
“My father taught me to become a winner,” said Pellegrino. “He said it’s all right to lose, but it’s better to win. In fact, me and my dad had a long talk about that, and I told him ‘I am the way I am because of you and it’s a good thing and I’m happy about it.’”

if he keeps in standing i see no reason he dosnt KO diaz or get a decision, even on the ground with kurt on top i see him grinding out a decision, stevenson couldnt submit him i find it hard for diaz to submit him but thats skinny diaz's only hope besides moving to WW

Yeah I hope Kurt Wins because he definately belongs in the Upper echelon of Fighters in the UFC and would give any UFC Lightweight Contender a Good match. And Look how much his Stand Up has improved, he used to Just rely on his Wrestling and Jui Jitsu but now he can keep the Fight Standing and have a decent shot at Winning.

I agree, I think that Pellegrino is going to prove to hard to submit, and he's going to bang out a decision.

I don't see it staying on the feet I think we will see some of the best transtitions and just all around great display of technique(JJ). I think that Diaz stand up ain't bad and he'll hang for a bit but then it will go to the ground and stay there. I like both the fighters but I think Batman will get caught. I understand I may be the only one.

Nate is a great fighter, I think he will get a Sub in this, His body frame is perfect for the way he fights, And he keeps on finishing guys.

I don't think Kurt will have to much of a problem winning here, his 2 most recent losses come from guys who are larger, stronger, and probably better wrestlers. (I'm talking about Stevenson and Fickett) He tends to beat up the skinny 155 lbers ( Crane Mohr and Junior) I would put Nate in this second group.

Yeah I think Batman will pull out the UD here. If they stand I think Pellegrino has the better stand up but Nate is no slouch in the stand up game. I also think Pellegrino has very good JJ and its going to be really hard for Nate to sub him.
