This guy looked for real in his last fight I am just wondering if anyone can give me more information on him so I make a more informed decision about his fight with Hammil.

He is a practitioner of the Bruce Lee martial art isn't he??

He showed some potential in his last fight. He won pretty easily, but I would like to see more of him to say that he is going to be a top guy. With the little I did see of him I think he will beat Hamil by KO 1st round.

I'll wait to see his ground game before I call him "for real". The Hamill fight should show us his ground skills, unless Hamill trys to be a hero and stands with him, which then I see Boetsch ko'ing him. Boetsch absolutly demolished Heath on the feet and had some of the most effective straight kicks I've ever seen. Should be interesting. As long as Hamill sticks to his game I see him winning by UD or possibly later round ref stoppage depending on Boetsch's cardio and ability to keep up with Hamill's pace.

Beating a guy who would be considered a can against a top 10 doesnt tell us much. He could be the greatest fighter today or could be just a guy who is a gatekeeper. We need to see more to tell.

But against a guy like Hammill isnt a good place to start. Hammill did a number on Bisping so i can only assume Hammill will win based on recent performances but Tim has all the tools to make me eat my words

Boetesch is an exciting fighter. He made David heath look like a little girl, throwing him around like that. Hammil is way to good of a wrestler for Botesch to handle like that. I also thikn that Matts stand up is getting better. Look at his fight with Bisping. He looked good standing. I have to go with Hammil on this one TKO 2nd Rnd

The only other fight ive seen him in was when he got beat off the janitor, and he didnt really do alot in that fight. He pretty much got pinned down for the best part (if im thinking of the right fight) which is what hammil might do if he feels hes not gona win the stand up battle. Ive been changing my pick for this fight and karos fight pretty much everytime i look at it, its a tough call. I think ill go for hamill in the end though.

Jeet Kune Do was a philosophy, not a martial art.

My apologies is it not a philospohy pertaining strictly to martial arts ans combat evolution over the years.

I see most ppl are in the same spot as me in picking this fight. One thing I cannot wait to see is if he keeps using his front kicks, thos were frickin awesome.

yeah, its just JKD is about taking what works for you the most efficiently, and discarding the rest. So to say hes studying the Bruce lee martial art is just a bit of a stretch, as they have entirely different physical attributes and thus they should be using entirely different techniques.
