I think most US media outlets think Liddell is the holy grail of MMA fighters. I can't wait til Rampage breaks his face, then slam the Iceman for the KO.

Me too.

Huh, that is crazy. How can Chuck be ranked over Fedor. This is a popularity vote IMO!

I by no means think that Chuck > Fedor, but if you read the criteria of the P4P list on the top of the linked page:

"Matches over the past 12 months are weighted more heavily than years past. MMA is a fast-moving sport. A year ago, Andrei Arlovski would have been a no-brainer for this list; this year, he's nowhere to be found."

Fedor beat Hunt an up and coming power, but not necessarily (maybe near the bottom) top ten... And Coleman, a great wrestler who decided to not evolve his game with the evolution of the sport (and no where near top ten in my book)

Chuck had impressive knockouts of Randy Couture (arguably top 10 at the time), Babalu (argueably top 15 still), and Tito (argueably top 15)...

He fought more, neither man lost, and maybe his striking style is more appreciated than Fedor's tesxt-book-well roundedness (nonsense to me), but IMO that's why he got the nod over Fedor on this guy's list.

A betcha the big reason Chuck is #1 is because he finish his fights with highlight reel Ko's

Here's Chucks 7 fights

Tito - KO round 3
Babalu - KO round 1
Randy - KO round 2
Horn - TKO round 4
Randy - KO round 1
White - KO round 1
Tito - KO round 2

Here's Fedor last 7 fights

Hunt - Submission round 1
Coleman - Submission round 2
Zulu - Submission round 1
Cro Cop - Decision
TK - Doctor Stoppage round 1
Nog - decision
Nog - No Contest. Accidental cut

Chucks KO's probably heavily influenced the writer. Because lets face it, most would rather see a KO then a submission. Also I think Fedor fighting Zulu really hurt him in this ranking. Fightin TK probably didn't help either

This list was made by the popularity of the fighter not skill

Bah.. I don't even bother arguing about most of the picks but the one that stands out the most is Shogun at 9th place?!?!

Heck he's right up there with GSP and Chuck and almost Fedor. The man has 1 real loss and that was years ago and beaten some SICK opponents.
Just look some of the fighters he's beaten and tell me he's not top 3.

Rampage
Arona
Lil Nog
Overeem
Cyborg
Nak
Gono

Tell me. Who has A.Silva beaten to justify a higher ranking?
Franklin
Sakurai
and some mid-level TUFers in Rivera and Leben.
