Funny you're friend said that, because honestly I thought he looked a little thicker. He was still in good shape no doubt, but that wasn't the best shape he has ever been in that is for sure.

Ya I agree...

I"m sure he believes if you fight in japan you must be on roids...

Honestly I kind of buy into that theory too..

But no in this case he seams pretty much the same through all the orgs

I think the difference is that in Japan he is huge and in the US he is a small heavy weight

I don't know about that, Barnett is bigger then anyone he fought in the UFC, and he's also much better IMO. I don't buy into him doing roids, or anything, I just think he didn't care anymore at the time. Hopefully now he's there 100% mentally.

The entire heavy weight division (world wide) needs the promise that Mirko once showed

I dont think we will see the same Cro Cop we once knew. He is a professional kickboxer, but he's techniques are very well studies, and are very predictable. Most of the fighters he fought are mma fighters, with no certain discipline, most of UFC fighters are professional wrestlers, karate, or jojetsue ( I hope I spelled that right ), and may predict he's moves easily.
I like Cro Cop, and I hope he will come back the same or even better.

Your post isn't very clear.

Any pro kickboxer has predictable techniques? Barnett, a top 5 HW and former UFC champ fought CC 3 times. Did that help him? Silva fought CC before too, and knew all his "techniques". And yet he got destroyed worse then the first time. What are you getting at here?

Most UFC fighters are professional wrestlers? I know you're not referring to WWE, but "some" UFC fighters were decent amateur wrestlers. Don't know any "karate" HWs. And what does a fighter's background have to do with predicting moves, let alone easily? CC fought guys of all backgrounds in PRIDE too. PRIDE was not K1, it was MMA.

I agree. I don't see a difference, and I didn't notice a difference when I watched the fight online.

The only difference is he didn't lose 10 lbs suddenly(kongo), he's at 106kgs right now, i'd like to see him a bit lighter but Marijan wants him that heavy to get out of the clinch. Also expect more knees

hey don't shoot the messenger...i was just posting available pics from each org. in Dream though he did look bigger and as cmill said gained some weight. with the largest legs in MMA some upper body girth wouldn't hurt. if the HW division was split up at 230 CC would most likely run it.

He does have some big legs, but I think Josh Haynes legs are pound for pound biggest.

welll you stole my thunder haha
and if its true ( about the roids thing) then it isnt that they suck but its that they have a different standard of training cause roids help and they arent used to having to train to the next level.. ( not saying that CC or any other fighter is at some high celiber)
