Tickle Me

Although UFC 84's main event features a lightweight title fight, the undercard of the event will be all about the light heavyweights.

The UFC today confirmed three bouts we previously reported here at MMAjunkie.com, including Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou (4-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) vs. Kazuhiro Nakamura (11-7 MMA, 0-1 UFC), Thiago Silva (12-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) vs. Antonio Mendes (14-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC), and Goran Reljic (7-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) vs. Wilson Gouveia (10-4 MMA, 4-1 UFC).

I am picking Jardine to destroy Wandy !! And i also pick Tito to win against Machida, Tito know how important this fight is for his future contract no matter where it is, he will be ready.

Easy pick for me here !!

I think i may pick Jardine as well, but i seriously think Machida is going to dominate Tito, Tuvok500. I really don't think it matters if Tito knows how important this fight is for him, I think he plain just spreads himself too thin.. hes more about the money right now, and theres nothing wrong with that... i just don't think he can defeat the Black House product in Machida, the Ghost is simply too intelligent of a fighter.

Yeah, well Tito like money and he know that to have a big contract he have to win.
I know Machida is a top fighter , it is just that i think Tito can take him down and win by damage, i don't see tito completely destroying Machida unless a big mistake by Machida who can result in a TKO.

Thiago is an up and coming fighter who is exciting and every fight in the UFC has been finished. Soko is just a bust and Nakamura, I don't know what to think about Nakamura but I know I'll be extremely PO'd if they screw Thiago over for freakin Soko-Nakamura.

Thiago should win, Nakamura will win, but I'm still borderline with Jardine-Wandy. Everybody keeps saying how Wandy's camp is so great and how he's even more focused now. The dude has 3 straight losses and I'm sure everybody was saying he was "focused as ever" before each loss and I'm sick of being disappointed after hearing people say that about there favorite fighter and I'm done not giving Jardine the credit he deserves. Right now I'm leaning more towards a Jardine decision.

How is Soko A bust? He lost one fight in the UFC to a guy I see as having a great shot at winning the title and that makes him a bust? I don't agree at all.

Have you seen his other loss in the WEC? He's a striker with a weak chin. If he actually used his judo like Karo he would be great but he's a striker but his chin ain't great so I can't see him getting anywhere.

He just proved lightening strikes twice.

this isnt news, your title says additional bouts and this isnt additional as it has been known for quite awhile

i have to disagree with yall.. Soko just lost to a better fighter.. not a bust, with that Machida is going to make Tito look like a B level fighter and as much as i want a KO in this i think he'll sub him, of corse the "underdog" will be the undefeated product and everybody will cheer for TIto prefight but the tune will change as the fight goes on when Tito gets embarressed

The news part of it is that the bouts are now UFC confirmed, so it's "safe" to buy tickets.

Tito will LNP or GNP Lyoto, Thiago will get a KO, so will Wandy (I hope), and things in the division will make a little more sense for a little while.

I would agree that he dose seem to have a weak chin, and that he needs to use his Judo more. A bust seems too strong right now. If he loses again I would agree but I don't really think he will lose this fight. I think that he looked nervous in the last fight and now that the UFC jitters are gone we will see the old Soko. But Hey I have been wrong before.
