That's true about Hughes' opponents but I stand by Anderson and IMO believe that the fighters that he has defended his title against are of a higher calibur than Hughes'. And I understand that the era, and weight classes and all other factors weigh in on this debate as well. Also, if you want to debate about "dominate", then you have to look at how the fights were finished and how fast the fights were and how dominant and superior that Hughes and Silva were/are against their opponents. That's too much work for me right now tho, lol. Some other time...but good post man

Which would also mean Anderson has the most consecutive title defenses, taking that record away from hughes.

i wrote that because Brock's reign started with his win over Randy Couture and it is still on that title reign. and the correction you posted doesn't work since Brock only fought Carwin once
