Rashad Evans (Pictures) is expected to fight Chuck Liddell (Pictures) June 7 in London, England, Sherdog.com confirmed Wednesday.
The light heavyweight bout came together just one day after the UFC announced Mauricio Rua (Pictures) pulled out of the fight against Liddell (21-5) because of a ruptured ACL in his left knee.

Damn, I wanted Thiago Silva to hand Rashad his first loss. I'm kinda pissed. Now Liddell will from sprawling and KO Rashad and then once again we will get to hear how great Liddel's stand up is from KOing another wrestler
Looking forward to the fight, just a little disappointed Thiago, one of my favorites gets his big shot taken away. Hopefully he can find a decent opponent still.

Damn. This would've been a good time to sign Ricardo Arona.
Arona vs. Liddell would've been 1000x better than Rashad vs. Liddell.

Well Damn! This definetly is a worse situation than Shogun and Chuck, Which I predict would have been a royal brawl. Now Chuck gets an easy fight before he challenges for his title. I mean, yeah, I guess it works, but I would have much rather have have Henderson take Rua's place, cause dan might have posed problems for CHuck. I think if Chuck goes for the ol' fashioned "sprawl and Brawl" technique, he should Knock Evans out in the first round.
What now for Silva? Tim Boetcsh?

I like the replacement, but was looking forward to the Evans and Thiago fight...
wonder who the will put Thiago up against now...winner of Hammil/Boetsch?
anyways, I see Chuck, stuffin Rashads takedowns..and if he does get takedown..getting back up quickly..and winning by TKO in the 2nd

I spose there is no other at the moment, Rashard does have the record. Liddell has 99.999999% Chance of winning this. There will be a huge KO.
But, Can you imagine if Rashard won, Will he get a title shot? Liddell already has it, Just has to fight first!
I would love to see Chuck V Forrest for christmas. Yep, I said Forrest!

If you said Forrest then does that mean you think Chuck needs one more fight before another title shot at Rampage?

I feel Bad for Thiago, no he has to wait or fight a can that won't help him move up. Why not Thiago-Liddell... of course, you dont want to make Chuck lose one more
Evans- just another grappler who couldn't finish his last 2 fights (Split D and Draw[which was suppose to lose]) Thiago - huge guy, KO power, 3 UFC Fights = 3 KOs
Biased match-up? you choose
If they make Thiago vs Jason Lambert I'll be pissed

Well this is a much easier one to pick. Liddell by KO/TKO in the 2nd.

i guess theres always a bright side... i guess.
UFC85 went from having potentially the most interesting match-up the ufc has ever done to... sh!t.
I wont even order this ppv if this is the Main event.
