Anyone think Black House is looking pretty stacked at the moment... Vitor Belfort, Anderson Silva, Big Nog, Machida, Paulo Filho... seems like the new Miletich camp

I had a feeling I'd be asking myself this question after this fight was over. I picked Hendo to win, but I never once doubted Silva's ability to make me eat my words.
At 185 I still think there's one man out there he needs to face. That's Matt Lindland. Obviously he's got Okami moving up the MW ranks, so he might get a revenge bout in there, but ultimately the man I'd like to see him face is Lindland. Lindland could neutralize the reach a lot better than Hendo did, IMO.
Hendo, man.. I love you... but why did you let Silva drag you out into the center of the Octagon? I feel if Hendo had kept him against the fence and continuously taken him down he would have broken his will and been able to secure the victory. Still, a great fight.. a GREAT card, and I made bank... LOL
Completely agree. Dan did great in the first round by utilizing the strongest part of his game. IMO, he should've came out in the second and picked up where he left off in the first. Go in, work the clinche, and eventually get the takedown and work from there.
Don't get me wrong, Dan Henderson can stand and bang with the best of them, but I think that Anderson is just an amazing striker and is a notch above everybody. He made the mistake of trying to trade with Silva, got caught with a couple good shots, and was taken out of his element.
I also agree about Lindland. I'm about 100% positive that he would never try and test Silva's stand-up, and is just as good or maybe even better than Hendo when the fight goes to the ground. Not saying Lindland could beat Silva, but it'd be an interesting match-up.

I can't see anyone beating him at MW for a while. I'd rather see GSP and him at a catch weight for P4P king than him moving up to LHW. He's as near to unstoppable at MW as you can get though. A awesome fighter man! I was sure pissed he beat Hendo last night though! I thought for sure Hendo had it in the bag going in!

I will start out by saying. WOW!! Silva is very very impressive. Looks like Okami will probably be next.
J/K Possible opponents that might beat Silva.
Lesnar. I believe his strength would be too much for Silva. Fedor. Some say the best fighter ever, and he doesn't mind fighting MW's. J/K
And one more reminder. The Lesnar and Fedor lines were jokes.

Yeah I had Silva as my pick until yesterday and like a dumb ass I changed it to Hendo......My brother convinced me that hendo would take it.
I'll never bet against Silva again, and always stick with my first choice.
Silva is damn good.
