When I was at UFC 88, Mike Hampton (pitcher for the Braves) and his brother were sitting behind us, and when Rich Franklin was fighting Matt Hamill, Hampton's brother just kept talking about how much of a pussy Rich Franklin was and kept shouting "Just get him in a thai clinch! He doesn't know what to do from there!".
And he kept on going calling him a pussy, and in the third round Franklin kept throwing body/leg kicks, and after every one his brother would go "Pussy kick!" and then he hit the liver kick, Hamill fell over and then he responded by saying "Get up you pussy! You just didn't want to keep fighting your friend." Or something to that effect.

Ok I got a great one
My Uncle was watching a UFC event with myself and a couple fairly knowledgable guys that we watch every UFC PPV together
He was Telling my How Kimbo was the best and would knock out everyone
and How James Thompson was undefeated before that fight
and Tank was undefeated before there fight
Myself and the guys were telling him he was wrong, and He just kept arguing
And the best part of all He told me that he had watched a fight on the fight network were Kimbo had knocked out Michael Bisping
I laughed so Hard
After Seth Knocked out Kimbo I dont have to tell ya who I called first lol

My girlfriends dad decides he is an expert on everything he watches. Well i got talked into going over there the day of ufc 70. and he was going on and on trying to like commentate and i was trying to be nice and humor him so i would explain who the fighters are and (lol) gonzaga vs cro cop came on. so i explained there strengths and stuff to him and he starts goin "if gonzager is smart he is gonna take him to the ground blah blah blah and gonzager will get killed if he stays on his feet. gonzager is one dimentional and should stick to wrasslin!" and just kept goin on and on about it and then BOOM! Gonzaga drops cro cop and he didn't have anything to say about it after that lol i know gonzaga was an upset and i thought cro cop was gonna win but we all know anything can happen and it was funny to shut the guy up

In the UK theres a UFC chat/news show show called ultimate talk OMG i have never heard so many bad pronounciations of names in my life the announcers clearly have no clue what they are talking about
This is what ive been complaining about to like everyone i know.
(seen as tho im like the only MMA fan around where i live... no one cares)
Im all for watching programmes about MMA News but seriously i cant watch "Ultimate Talk" the people on it need to be slapped or fired.
To me it isnt helping with raising the profile of MMA in the UK or recruiting new fans.
I feel really bad for those uneducated or new fans who decide to watch this to learn more. Its just bollocks. Its just news reporters who get paid to chat bubbles. Dont even get me started on that Gareth lad (i think thats his name anyway) What a bell-end!
The thing that started it off for me was when they didnt pronounce LIDDELL properly seriously my 21 month old nephew can pronouce it properly and HE ISNT GETTING PAID TO REPORT MMA NEWS.
EDIT: I do apologise about the rant but seriously i despise this show

(This is whilst im watching some UFC fights in class to do research about an athlete’s performance in the sport of MMA)

Me: Research, it’s kind of my chosen sport.
Guy: Your sport is UFC?
Me: Its MMA you pleb.
Guy: You what?
Me: MMA… Mixed Martial Arts
Guy: What the fcuk? ... You’re sat watching UFC?
Me: MMA is the sport, UFC is an organisation.
Guy: You what? *looking incredibly confused and abit gutted because I knew more than him*
(After that I just gave up and watched the fight)

Haha people these days... need to do there research.
nearly everyone i know who isnt a mma fan but have seen UFC usually believe that UFC is the sport ,theres only UFC fighters and if your watching any type of MMA its got to be UFC, if it not they just look at you like your the one that doesnt know what your talking about.
