That's the plan according to now-former UFC fighter Mirko Cro Cop. He's on record as saying he will fight 3 fights for the new DREAM promotion then return to UFC.

I'm a big Cro Cop fan and I'm glad to hear that he's still in the game and looking to fight ASAP.
I hope he does return to the UFC and redeem himself in the cage.
I especially hope that he does as he has said he will and fights in the UK again.
I'm very interested to see who he getsin there with in Japan.
I read another interview where he said he wanted Fedor on NYE, that goes against him wanting to return to the UFC this year.
I guess it's all up in the air at the moment.

w00t cro cop fedor 2 will be good if crocop is ready like he says he will be. everyone who has followed cro cop knows he has his ups and downs. Hoping he bounces back and shows the englishmen whats up  I'd like to see him dominate fedor. I think i'd probably explode.

He says he wants to come back after 3 fights, but will the UFC want him back. With his showing in the UFC thus far, don't you think they may be hesitant to sign him to a new contract. Your casual MMA fan only knows him from his losses to Gonzaga and Kongo, so he may not be as marketable upon his return to the UFC. Unless he destroys 3 decent opponents in DREAM, I don't think they'll shell out the cash for him again.
I truly hope he can get back to the old Cro Cop and return to dominate in the UFC. He is and always will be one of my favorite fighters.

... Cro-cop has the biggest fanbase internationally of any fighter IMO. He'll be worth the risk as most hardcore fans buy PPV's more frequently than the casual fan.

Unless he is great in DREAM i dont think he'll be back. I like Mirko a lot but think he will make his money in dream and go back to being part of parliment or whatever he is in
