^ LOL I'd take Fedor. Randy beat two very beatable hw, post getting ko'd 2x at lhw. Many of RC's early losses are to good sub guys

I would make Fedor a heavy favorite. He has a lot wider skill set and a much more impressive HW resume. It would be the first time for each of them that they've faced as intelligent and strategic a fighter as the other one which is what makes the fight intriguing.

I would pick Fedor. I think it would be a great chess match though. I think Fedor has the advantage in the stand up, as well as on the ground, I do think Randy has a slight edge in take downs. In all honesty I'd rather see a few other matches then this one, but it will be a barn burner that I think would look like the Fedor Coleman matches.
EDIT: Styles you do know Fedor's 31 right? lol

Yeah, in all seriousness, this would really be a tough one for me to call. They are both great fighters, and they don't even have any common opponents. If Couture would not have skipped out on his fight with Nog, we may have been able to make some connections. Either way, I think this goes to decision. I'll flip a coin, and say Fedor by decision.

I almost don't want to see this fight any more because it is brought up on a daily basis.
I just want it to happen now so everyone can stop talking about it

i think fedor is definitly the favorate... but randys got heart and wants this fight bad... so i think his motivation and drive would put him in a position to win.

LOL I agree.
Honestly though- I think in a Cage we see a Couture decision victory. Couture won't stand in the middle of the octagon and bang it out with Fedor. Fedor has shown a weakness to the greco clinch in his fight against Lindland, and he was dumped on his noggin against Randleman. Fedor would probably grab the fence on his way down from the standing greco clinch and get a point deducted. At this point Randy would ensure Fedor was pushed against the fence Tito Ortiz style so he couldn't maneuver for an arm bar or reversal. Fedor would make sub attempts no doubt, but Couture won't get subbed easily. I'm almost confident enough in that to say that up against the fence Couture WONT get subbed... ever.
In a ring I pick Fedor. Fedor will bullrush Couture with his aggressive striking style and try to take off his chin a-la Chuck Liddell style with his superior reach. Randy will go for the clinch because he saw Lindland clinch Fedor to the ground, and Fedor will bounce it off the ropes for a crazy Judo throw. Randy might not get thrown, but both fighters will go to the ground. In the middle of a ring I see Fedor able to get a submission on Couture. If he makes multiple attempts and can't get it done we'll either see a referee standup or a Fedor reversal. Once Randy has Fedor in his half guard or Fedor achieves side control I see a lights out TKO for Fedor due to GnP.
Then again, I'm gameplanning one for the other here, and these are the two best game planners in the business. So we'll see.

I may just sound a bit like a party pooper or something, but why can't we wait until the fight is actually officially announced before talking about who would win? I mean, this topic has been done to death.
