Not many people have heard of them, but they are very good. It's difficult to explain their music, as it's progressive rock, but most songs are under five minutes and have influences from a lot of different genres. Joey Eppard, the rhythm guitarist and vocalist, plays a percussive finger-picked acoustic guitar. This is way more bad ass than it sounds. Great voice too. I would recommend it to anyone with an open mind who likes good music:

yeah... the riffs are kinda hard, it's not so bad, voice doesnt really do it for me though. I only got to listen to the new stuff, im sure the old stuff like most bands is better. All in all pretty good instrumentals, but tell me they're opening and not headlining.

Yeah, they're opening. They are very good live. As a guitarist, I really enjoy the way he plays and some of the things that he can pull off with the percussive attack of his right hand. They are nowhere near as refined as any of the big name bands out there, but they are different, and I like their approach.

no order...
Metallica Rush Rage Against The Machine Unearth Three Six Mafia Lamb Of God As I Lay Dying Coal Chamber CKY Bad Company
A lot of others, but these are the first 10 that came to my head....
On a side note: Iron Maiden is probably the greatest band I've ever heard live, no other band could compare to them not even Black Sabbath.
EDIT: Forgot Fear Factory, they're deff. in my top ten

I'm not even going to try and rank them but here are the first 10 I can think of off the top of my head.
Dream Theater (easily my favourite band ever) Annihilator (best canadian metal band ever) Blind Guardian (what i would listen to before going into battle) Pantera (pure aggresion) AC/DC (classic rock personified) Joe Satriani (vocals are for pussies) Nevermore (just fantasticly dark) Tenacious D (what can I say, I like fat sweaty men) Stratovarius (one word, phoenix!) Tommy Emmanuel (master of the accoustic)
Honorable Mention: Iron Maiden (saw them in concert on Sunday for the first time and it rocked) Metallica (the good outweighs the bad 10 to 1) Megadeth (they go hand-in-hand with metallica for me) GNR (they started me on the path to harder rock) White Zombie (i can't explain this one but I was a huge fan at one point) Yngwie Malmsteen (he loves cheeseburgers) Symphony X (haven't listened to them for long but nothing I don't like yet) In Flames (power) U2 (this is my brother's fault) Tool (first few albums are great, lost touch after that) Weird Al (face it, the man is a genius) Rush (best trio of all-time) Beatles (can't deny them their due) Black Sabbath (the root of all evil and I thank them for it)
Ok, so that was way more than 10, sue me.

1) AC/DC 2) Led Zeppelin 3) Metallica 4) Guns N' Roses 5) System of a Down (Before the last two albums, although I still like those as well) 6) Red Hot Chilipeppers 7) Def Leppard 8) The Beatles 9) Neil Young 10) The Rolling Stones
Honorable Mentions: Van Halen, Linkin Park, Deep Purple, The Eagles, Nirvana, Rush, Black Sabbath/Ozzy, The Tragically Hip, REM, Bon Jovi and the list goes on.
Essentially, Rock is the best music out there, especially Classic Rock.
