Would Minotauro Nogueira defeat Randy Couture if he were to return? Will Brock Lesnar's next opponent be a cakewalk? Will that win reinvigorate the career of Frank Mir? Was Tim Sylvia's ground defense mindblowingly bad? All of this and more in the latest installment of 411 MMA Fact or Fiction!

Randy would beat Nog hes got alot better ground game than Sylvia and his standup from what i saw would seem to be better than Nog's, Lesnar will probably get a cakwalk even though i dont see many guys that arent in the top 10 with grat submissions skills giving him too hard of a time, Tims sylvia's ground defense is horrible and i dont think it will ever change and im not sure how far frank mir will go with this win he was pretty lucky that he didnt get his face broken into tiny peices like his leg.

I say Nog takes Couture.Couture would want to keep this fight standing.Despite having great wrestling,I think putting Nog on his back would be a bad idea for Randy.Couture I think,is a better striker than Nog,but I think Nog can strike faster than Randy. So I think on striking Randy would probably prove to be the better, but I still think he would want to employ some diry boxing in this fight, and get Nog in the clinch.

I don't see Randy doing to Nog what he did to Tito,Liddell (first fight),Sylvia,or Gonzaga. On the ground,Randy would have to be cautious.I don't see him working against Nog's guard like Fedor did.

I don't know.It could really go either way,but I think Nog would probably take this.

6/10 times.

Couture handles BBJ guys very well...He doesnt get submitted that often. I also dont think people give his hands enough credit. I think he stands and lays into Nog, then when its time to go to the ground, Couture's wrestling and VASTLY superior cardio take the fight for him. Maybe a TKO ground and pound in the 4th or a desicion, but one way or another Couture wins it...

nog...

couture has been subbed alot in his career... and nog is the best submission guy(other than fedor) in the history of the hw division. where couture is strong at, nog is even better

He has better boxing and at the very least would tie couture on the feet. On the ground over 5 rounds randy would make a mistake and get caught. Theres no way to finish nog.... and with 5 rounds on his back he'll sub any guy who has shown they can be vulnerable to submission.

Nog sub in 2

A month ago I would,ve said that Big Nogs career was over due to the UFC using a cage rather than ring. Now I say Couture by close decision.
Nogueira will be a reigning champ if Fedor and Couture can'tfight in the UFC only because the lack of competition. Mir has th only chance of beating the ring styled Big Nog.

I think couture wins by Ud 50-45 ... hes the better striker the better wrestler and yea hes been subbed alot in his career but those were early fights in his career i cant rember the last time i seen him tap ... couture wins cuz when he stands wit Nog he will beat him down and when he decides 2 take it 2 the ground nogs cardio wont be good enough 2 with stand cotures tempo !

the lesnar bout did not impress me either if he beats a top 5 heavyweight in the ufc then i would be, but slowly you do see him build up and up to what he once was,

i think couture needs to take this fight, antonio has been a top5 heavyweight for years now, i don't see how couture would not think he is worthy, he just needs to fight him, should be a war,

marquadt might get another shot at the belt but i say only if silva isn't a champion anymore, if silva was to lose in march i do see okami taking the next shot with maybe a franklin vs marquadt for next title shot okami needs his props as well especially if he does beat tanner
