"When you fight BJ Penn how do you expect the fight to end, With a Submission, or KO?"
"I don't really no, I don't walk into a fight thinking I'm gonna submit, or knock somebody out, I just want to win. (I'm going to take you down, and lay on top of you for 5 rounds, with a few scattered punches and elbows thrown in there, and hope I get the decision)"

BJ...... please **** this guy up

Does anyone else think he MIGHT be in innocent?!
I'v looked back at what he showed the commission and if it was in a normal court he would have got off easily! I even showed my mum (who's a solicitor(or lawyer in the USA)) and she agreed.

I don't know who would win and it should be a awesome fight but I'm going to give Sherk the benefit of the doubt!
I hope the Sherk bashing stops soon as he deserves some respect because all his wins regardless of if he did use steroids or not can't be down to that!

Great interview man!

Looks like Sherk's got herpes, prolly from sucking matt hughes' dick too much. Steroids or not, sherk loses. BJ is the superior fighter, lay on him for 5rounds and hes gonna catch u in a submission.

What are you talkin about? Oh, you heard someone say BJ has bad cardio so you named his last fight as an example. Cuz Stevenson was one of many fights where he showed no lack of cardio. He schooled him on such a level that there was never a question of whether he would gas..... Same as he'll do to Sherk.

Well obviously you didnt watch that fight and you have no idea what ur talking about.....If anyones cardio was bad it was Stevensen......BJ looked like he could have fought back to back fights that night he was in such great shape....

i don't know, i'm a huge fan of bj, but he couldn't have fought again after the stevenson fight. he could hardly talk in the post fight interview. he was close to gassed. cardio is the only thing sherk has going for him in this fight

I dont think BJ was gassed more excited he just won the belt. He might have been tired tho, i mean he did beat joe daddy into a living death.

I have to thoroughly disagree with the conditioning remarks , first off im a huge BJ penn fan and i want him to win , but ive seen almost all of his fights with the exception of maybe joey gilbert and some of the gracies , he gases a lot , it is truly his only legitimate weakness , If you look at a lot of his fights , if hes not dominating and it goes to decision he gets really tired , thats probably the main reason he ever lost to jens pulver the 1st time , and his 2nd fight with caol uno that went to a draw , BJ would have won his fight with GSP had he not been rdy to collapse coming into the 3rd round , the 2nd Hughes fight eh that was more cuz of a broken rib , and his latest fight , i dont care what you say ive never seen fighters look as tired as he did after just 2 rds of fighting , BJ Penn is not a cardio machine in anyway , and thats the only thing he could possibly blow this upcoming fight on

Having said that though , Penn obviously has no problem with fighting powerful fighters , hes the only man ive ever seen actually give GSP a real fight , and he had no problems totally stuffing Hughes takedowns in both fights , his striking is good and his BJJ needs no introduction , but if Sherk can bully his way into those takedowns and do what he does best wearing down opponents, i can see the tides turning for BJ come rd 3 where his phenomal skill comes out of play because hes too tired to utilize it , im still picking penn , to give sherk his first sub loss ever Rd.2 , Rear naked choke
