I think it would be a great idea for the UFC to do a card with just Lightweights due to their dynamic fighting style. So, you be Joe Silva and make your own Lightweight Fight Card.
Here's my Card
Main Event
B.J. Penn ( If he gets past Sherk ) vs Gilbert Melendez
Co- Main Event
Sean Sherk ( if he loses to B.J. ) vs Kenny Florian ( If he gets past J-Lau )
Main Card
Tyson Griffin vs Nate Diaz
Din Thomas vs Spencer Fisher
Joe Stevenson vs Rich Clementi
Undercard
Frankie Edgar vs Gleison Tibau
Gray Maynard vs Clay Guida
Jeremy Stephens vs Manny Gamburyan
Mac Danzig vs Cole Miller
Feel Free to post you're own card

i dont have a fight card to post but i want to say on this "lightweight" thread that i want to see Chris Horodecki in the UFC soon. This KID is a killer and a very exciting fighter at 20 yrs old. I loved him in the IFL and think he could be a contender in the UFC

I'm guessing we can use any LW fighter. Also it seems that the majority of UFC PPV's have 12 fights instead of 9 like they use too. So thats what I'm gonna do.
I also have a common theme. Most of the "top" MMA outlets have the LW division dominated by former Pride fighters...many only have BJ ranked. UFC likes to prove that they are better than PRIDE, so, its all of UFC stars vs. "the outsiders"
1. Main Event: BJ Penn vs. JZ Calavante (will surpass Gomi in most lists as #1 come UFC 90) 2. Co-Main Event: Sean Sherk vs. Takanormi Gomi
Main Card: 3. Frankie Edgar vs. Shinya Aoki 4. Joe Stevenson vs. Mitsuhiro Ishida 5. Kenny Florian vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri
Swing Bout: 6. Roger Huerta vs. Joachim Hansen
Undercard: 7. Tyson Griffen vs. Gilbert Melendez 8. Clay Guida vs. Eddie Alvares 9. Din Thomas vs. KJ Noons 10. Jorge Gurgel vs. Jamie Varner (Grudge Match) 11. Rich Clemente vs. Yves Edwards 12. Jeremy Stevens vs. Rob Mcullough

Excellent job. Props to you.
The only problem... Sherk is beating BJ, so he will need to be listed first.
