Ever since I rented UFC 67 and saw that fight with Tyson several months ago,

WAR EDGAR!!!

That fight was one of the best I have ever seen. I have become a fan of fighters because of that fight.

I think Edgar will win this fight anyway he wants.

edgar seems like an easy choice here, but i think maynard and edgar are so similar that it may end up being a very close fight that could easily go to decision with eitgher winning. ill take edgar, but i wont be completely stunned if maynard wins it.

Maynard is almost a clone of Edgar (fighting style) only he is slightly below on each level

So I say Edgar, pulls out a pretty dominate UD.

I am going to pick Edgar based on how he has done against tougher competition, but I really fell this fight is very close.

I taking maynard for this reason.. Maynard is a lot better wrestler than Edgar. How does Edgar win all of his fights? It's because of his wrestling. He out wrestles everyone thats good like Griffin and Fisher. He wont be able to out wrestling Maynard. Maynard is a 3 time all american with much better wrestling skills. I should also say that both of these fighters are my favorites and would take either one in a fight against anyone else. My pick is Maynard by UD.

I've got edgar by UD. Both these fighters are in their prime but I think Edgars experience will win him a close decision.

That's the story. Overall quality of the fight'ers' skillsets and their experience gives Edgar a seemingly big advantage, but styles make fights and this is a tough matchup. In many ways it reminds me of Edgar-Griffin where Tyson Griffin seemed like the much better MMA fighter, but when he struggled to take top position, his gameplan became unraveled and it became a very compettiive fight which he ended up losing.
