I'm picking Edgar just for the fact he's been in there with the better competition. I think Edgar is better all-around EXCEPT on the feet. Edgar might be more technical but if Gray lands, it could be lights out for Edgar.
But this will be an action packed exciting fight but I'll give a close decision nod to Frankie. Ever since I rented UFC 67 and saw that fight with Tyson several months ago, I've been a huge fan and still feel he will be LW champion one day. Not to mention he won me a shit load of money at UFC 78
WAR EDGAR!!!

Edgar I think would win but this fight has fight of the year written on it. Maynard could easily win this fight by strength and explosiveness. I see Edgar getting smashed in the first round with Maynard walking through his punches and being stronger in the clinch. Edgar probably learn his lesson and as soon as the fight hits the ground Edgar will smash.
(Edgar by close decision.)
If Maynard is able to attain top position on the ground he could possibly grind out an unlikely decision win.

Edgar probably has better cadrio than Maynard too. On the show Gray looked like he gassed against Diaz so unless he's worked on it a lot it may come into play. We've seen that Edgar can go three rounds at a good pace (vs Tyson Griffin)

i cant see mayneard winning this fight, in any position. on the feet, edgar is much more technical, unless maynard starts going ape shit and catches him. . . . edgar by UD.

Edgar has faced better competition, shown better stand up, and shown better cardio, so I'd have to go with him.
Both guys are improving at rapid paces though, so their camp preparation could play a huge part.
It's always hard to picture an MMA fighter losing until they get their first loss.

Edgar is one of the smartest lightweights in the UFC. He seems to have a perfect gameplan and makes adjustments on the fly. Maynard could get to that level very soon, but this fight will be a great learning experience for him and will make him even better.
Edgar by UD.

It will definately be a war. I picked Edgar. He has been impressive even when he was the dog. Gray is s sound fighter so it will be an interesting fight.

I personally think Edgar will dominate Maynard. Maynard hasn't impressed me in either of his two UFC bouts. The dude knocked himself out in his first one, with some stupid ass slam. In the second fight against Siver who I think is an average fighter as best took him to the limit. Now that's not to say he won't come out and prove me wrong either in this fight. But I'm picking Edgar first round submission.

i think edgar is going to school him on the ground, and dominate the stand-up.
