Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - Unbeaten UFC newcomer Rob Yundt (6-0) has stepped in on short notice to replace middleweight up and comer Alan Belcher against Ricardo Almeida on Saturday night's UFC 81 card in Las Vegas. Belcher was forced to withdraw from the bout due to a severe case of bronchitis.

Their is no article about it. It is on the front page.

damn. thats short notice!!! but now it makes me feel much more comfortable picking almeida to win this fight...

EDIT:also i posted a highlight video of rob yundt on the video section if anyone is interested in seeing what these guy has to offer, seems to be a GnP wrestler, muscling out of subs, which i dont think he can against almeida

good news for Almeida imo....

he was gonna have his hands full with Belchers stand-up.....but I think he should take this fight quickly and by submission

I like Ricardo but with this new guy coming in I think they should have just put Marvin Eastman vs. Terry Martin on the main card instead of this fight.

Well poop. I was really wanting to see Belcher fight Almeida. I'm kinda starting to like Belcher, but I guess I'll just have to wait.

While it is good luck for Almeida.

I am completely disapointed with Alan Belcher. He used to be one of my top 10 favs. Guess what not anymore. I hate fighters that can't make weight.

It seriously is a joke!!!

Kind of bummed, I thought this was going to be a good one, but at least now, the pick is a bit easier.

Yeah, I was really looking forward to see how this one panned out. Belcher was a stiff test for someone out of MMA for that long and should have been a great fight.
