I can't imagine they'd run Arco... but maybe they would. I'd prefer a more intimate setting though. Regardless, Faber will be over like rover in Sac, and he was at Stacked and got a nice little reaction. I'm definitely there though, Faber vs. Pulver? Yes please.

I am thoroughly looking forward to the Pulver vs. Faber fight. I have watched many of Faber's "best" fights and the guy looks somewhat sloppy to me. He missed kicks and falls a lot of the time and I think with Pulver's experience he will jump right in there and put this guy to sleep. I hear lots of people talking about how dominant Faber is and wondering why he isn't in the UFC. Well imo there are two reasons he hasn't moved onto bigger and better things. One being the fact that he is a small guy and if he gained weight to move to a higher class I don't think he would continue to be competitve. The second reason is I don't think he would stand a chance in the UFC even at his current weight. Like Dana stated before, there is a reason these guys don't fight in the UFC, they aren't good enough. If you look at a brief history of the few fighters who were given an opportunity in the UFC you will see they all competed poorly and were not given a contract. I think Pulver's decision (it was his decision too) to move down to the WEC for the lighter weight classes was a good move because naturally he is a smaller guy and to be competitive it is a great opportunity for him to fight at his most comfortable weight.

Nice, nice. Faber/Pulver. I'm still on the fence on who to go in that one. Need to do more research. Marshall/Stann should be good too. MMAMania.com also reported that Filho/Sonnen II might take place at this event. I suspect Alessio will get his rematch with Condit should he beat Larson but don't know if it'll work the same way should Larson win. Anyway, it seems like the WEC are gonna be having less shows in Vegas now. (And it's not that I hate Vegas :)

Huge rumor just coming out about another fight that could be added: WEC Middleweight Champion Paulo Filho vs. Chael Sonnen in a rematch from December. Also might be Filho's last fight at Middleweight. It's not definite yet and no date's set, but the Brazillian TATAME website says Sonnen asked for a rematch and Filho's side accepted, and "this will be Paulo's last fight at 84 category." (185).
If this holds up then WEC is going to have a streak of really hot cards going between 31, 32, & 33.

Faber will win but I am pulling for Pulver. I don't really like either fighter but there is something about Faber that makes me hate him and wish for his imminent demise.

That's what I was thinking... I love that place, a bit old, but the seating is great in there.
