i have been hearing this here is the email i recieved about it:
MMA Fightline is floating a rumor that UFC 83 — which was originally scheduled to go down March 8th in Manchester, England, before other reports began to claim that it would be held elsewhere — has been canceled altogether. Though it always seemed strange that the UFC would hold two major events only a week apart, no official reason for the cancellation has been announced yet. If this report turns out to be true, scheduled fights between Michael Bisping and Charles McCarthy, and Houston Alexander vs. James Irvin would be moved to other UFC events. You’ll know more when we do.
According to ProElite, TUF Alumni Chris Leben will take on Alessio “Legionarius” Sakara March 1 at UFC 82 in Columbus, Ohio. Leben will look to stay in the win column, following his miraculous one punch KO of Terry Martin at UFC Fight Night 11.
Sakara who trains with American Top Team, is coming of a first round TKO win over James Lee at UFC 80.

Slightly old news, most of us have known about it for a couple weeks. UFC 83 will now be what originally was UFC 84-the April 19 event in Canada.

ugh, theres already a thread about this, if 83 is cancelled it will be on the next month, there not gonna skip an event, 80, 81, 82, X, 84, 85 etc, the show goes on wheather or not it happens in april or not

Theres still a chance it will happen somewhere in March, im pretty sure its all dependant on that CBS deal they were so hopefull of getting by now, given that its always going to be a sub par ufc they definately want it free in the USA so they either need to get it on SPIKE or get that cbs deal imo
